Just loaded this in. Had a quick run around. Very impressed. Pretty much has all you need plus more. Love the my potions, my ingredients etc. Plus the fact my horse actually can now be in the stable adds something special for me. Many thanks. Going to ditch a few I've loaded and make this my primary residence. Keep my castle but that will be for fun. This i Love. Highly recommend this mod.

I got it to work by loading multipal adoption mod and casting "Bless this home", I also thought about putting fencing around the property so can raise cattle and sheep and other livestock. Add a room in the basement with cool toys like in Dovahkiin's ToyBox mod. Need to be able to build other rooms like a library and training area for trraining the kids, add other hunting trophies. These are just a few ideas, you have created the perfect home and I want to say Thank you. :steamhappy:

The real estate agent said,"amazing view, plenty of room for a large family..." what she failed to mention was a skooma drug den run by vampires no less than literal spitting distance from the front door! lol!

@Wavier Joker Just to update/get back to issue you found regarding adopting more children. It seems after reading through comments on the multiple adoptions mod pages that several users experienced the same thing. Unfortunately all you can do in your case is to start from a new playthrough. I've added te link at end of description above if you want to have a read through yourself, thanks again for the feedback and trying out my mod :steamhappy:

@peterwillis987 Thanks for comment, yeah I failed to get that to work from start. I have all the markers etc,. in place but it just does'nt seem to work. I'll take another look at it in the near future.

nice mod the only downside is you cant play the two games with your children.

Thank You I will try that and yes I already did have the children before the mod I guess i could just start a new game

@Wavier Joker Ok I'm assuming you are using the multiple adoptions mod? The beds will say owned as they are allocated for adopted children. I've had a quick glance through the forums, and I'm thinking maybe it's because you already had adopted children before using multiple adoptions mod and trying this one out! I can really only hazard a guess at this, wish I could be of more help. I would suggest perhaps starting a new character with both mods on and run through till you've adopted the kids from various locations. It will tell on first kid that they can live in your new home and so on. When I tested it myself thats what I did up to 4 kids and it worked fine. Least then you'll know if it's for the reason I suspect or not. Let me know how you get on please. Currently I'm not playing Skyrim at all, but soon as I can free up time will do so and intend doing some detailed testing (or actualy a full playthrough) to check for stuff like this.

Im having a problem with getting all 6 children in. I already have 2 children adopted and when I moved them in it was no problem but once I got there all 6 beds said (owned) and I cant adopt any more children but the 2 I have. What should I do?
Vahlan  [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 1:12pm
@EmraldGal I'm guessing you already tried this but playing around with load order might work. It is a popular area for other mods out there so could be a conflict. The closest game map marker is Redwater Den, the cottage sits on the hillside above it!

I recently installed Helsmyr Village. I found fast travel no problem, and following Luxen's advice below, one can easily climb up to the cabin from the board walk in the village. Graphical glitches, floating trees & rocks, are present especially on the waterfall's side of the cabin, but nothing it seems interfers with the cabin's interior. IMHO, these glitches should not deter one from using both mods. Viewed from the village, the cabin looks fine. Since the cabin allows one to cook, bake, fish, plant, and sleep for free, it makes a nice addition to the village.

Thanks for adding the Cooking Pot. You probably shouldn't worry much about the straw showing through as the leaking roof is a much larger distraction, LOL. However, yours is not the only house to have that problem. It seeems to be quite common in Skyrim.

tbh, I just clicked on some of the rocks blocking the way and disabled them. not pretty, but I got inside. Nice looking house you have made, many thanks. Just imagine how long it would have taken had I chosen to try using a shovel instead! :P
Vahlan  [author] 7 May, 2017 @ 5:05pm
Cooking stone and pot added to children room fireplace. As regards the straw showing through roof I'll see if I can find a replacement option but if none suitable will probably remain the same rather than change the look. I basicly want it to feel like the same building inside and out as much as possible. Yeah shame Helsmyrr Village and this share the same area, it's a well made mod.
Luxen De'Mark 6 May, 2017 @ 6:33pm
Ouch - I was so excited to try the mod --- but, I also have helsmyrr village installed, so your house is effectively buried by mountain :(

This looks like another great addition to your collection of player homes. I'm especially glad you added an oven as I've begun playing a character who must eat. However, I couldn't find a cooking pot or spit. Since you have two fire places, it should be easy to add one of those standing cooking pots off to the side of one of them. BTW, straw shows through the interior cracks in the wall of the master bedroom near the floor. Is that to be expected considering the buildings type of roof? No other problems so far.
