Ampwich 27 Nov, 2016 @ 8:40pm
Not working for me. :(
McCain Palin  [author] 19 Mar, 2016 @ 3:34pm
Make your own damn Mexico civ if you care so much. I made this for a Texas independence scenario, last I checked their leader during that war was Santa Ana. Matate, por favor.

Do You People Know ANYTHING About La Cultura Mexicana? Does Emiliano Zapata Salazar, Miguel Hidalgo, Lazaro Cardenas, Juan De Zumarraga, Or Jose Marcia Morelos Y Pavon Ring A Bell At All? Personally, Being Chicano...I Ame Deeply Insulted! A La Chingada Mas Putos!
McCain Palin  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 8:53am

Kuken 21 Dec, 2015 @ 4:17am
UA Should be no penalty for crossing the great wall ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
SirChivo 3 Mar, 2014 @ 11:44am

Supermarine 29 Sep, 2013 @ 2:42pm
Santa Anna? Seriously?
DrKultra 31 Jul, 2013 @ 1:44pm
Just a quick thing, why not exchange Santa Anna for JMMyP? he was a good strategist, a smart educated man and a decent politician.

Another option would be Iturbide if you have the Three-Gurantee's as his UU.

On the side, I would actually reccomend you exchange the UB from a food based, to being able to buy Cathedrals without the use of Faith, for some reason I feel this fits more with Mexico.

Why did you choose Santa Anna as Mexico's leader? I believe that mostly any character in Mexican history (and, indeed, in history as a whole) has his/her positive and negative aspects. Porfirio Díaz was a dictator, but had Mexico's economy grow significantly. Benito Juárez was a corrupt politician, but made the church a bit less of a powerful entity. Santa Anna, however, might be the only one that did not to benefit his country at all.

I think this mod is excellent and well balanced. Mexico is needed in this game. I think it would be cool if you made a California Republic civ led by Arnold Scharzenegger. I have some ideas.

UA: Silicon Valley
+2 Science from every improvement. Receive free Great Merchant upon discovery of Computers.
UU: Terminator
Replaces Mechanized Infantry. +1 sight and +10 combat strength as compared to Mech. Inf.
UB: Mission
Replaces Armory. +2 Faith and +5 defense, along with usual benefits.

The icon would be a grizzly bear, and the colors are red and brown.

I'd really appreciate it if you made it. Thank you so much if you do!

McCain Palin  [author] 23 Apr, 2013 @ 5:26pm
I made this pretty quickly, gimme a break.
arc 23 Apr, 2013 @ 5:25pm
lol i cracked up when i saw taqueria
Birdlisterine 15 Feb, 2013 @ 9:43am
@FML I think he choose Santa Anna because he's the most well known mexican leader leader outside of Mexico..... besides maybe Houston.
The Homestuck Menopause 10 Feb, 2013 @ 4:31pm
Why Santa Anna as the leader, though? He was legitimately one of the worst leaders my country has ever had. He kept getting kicked off the presidential chair, was a dictator, a shitty strategist and an all-around asshole.

The rest of the mod is good, though.
Morgoth 8 Feb, 2013 @ 5:41pm
I Think Maximiliano von Hasburg should be the leader
Deltadiamond 28 Jan, 2013 @ 9:50am
I like the idea, and especially the UA, but I feel like a horse-oriented UA would work better with a unique mounted unit. Also, while the current UA and UU lend Mexico to being a military power, the UB seems like it would only be useful in extremely limited situations. Still, good idea and good job.
Mink 21 Jan, 2013 @ 7:06am
awsome!! i have been looking for a mexico mod
No-Bark Hyena 1 Jan, 2013 @ 12:23pm
not showing up for me either.
matthew 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:26pm
I have two orther mods on that my be the problem.
McCain Palin  [author] 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:25pm
Right, but for all we know there might be some compatibility issues with the unique items for mexico that arent present with texas.
matthew 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:24pm
But the Texas Mod works just fine.
matthew 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:24pm
Nope
McCain Palin  [author] 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:22pm
Can't be your PC. Do you have Gods and Kings? That might be it.
matthew 17 Nov, 2012 @ 7:17pm
Hey I tried using this mod and the civ wouldent show up, but the texas mod works. Any resons? Or is it my Shit Pc?
pizzapicante27 9 Sep, 2012 @ 8:34pm
Why dont you just update the damm thing and put....I dont know, Hacienda or Mercado or Caballeriza as the UB with the same bonuses, and yeah, I get you have the whole American Invasion thing going with the Texas civ, but dear god, put someone other than Santa Anna, thats like making an American Independence mod and putting Benedict Arnold as the leader.
McCain Palin  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 3:07pm
Or creating an ottoman civilization even though the byzantines are already in the game. Oh wait.
maxielmexa 6 Sep, 2012 @ 11:18pm
Can you change it to Hidalgo or Juarez. And I know its already been said, but taqueria is a really bad idea :/
senpaiikush 3 Sep, 2012 @ 4:13pm
i kinda think benito jarez should be civ leader :|
OhMarGawd 3 Sep, 2012 @ 2:41pm
Why is that there is never a Latin American nation in a civ game?
McCain Palin  [author] 31 Aug, 2012 @ 2:41pm
I generally like to fit one UU and one UB in my civs, and I was trying to represent the Mexican Revolution version of Mexico. Taqueria wasn't really my best idea, I agree.
pizzapicante27 31 Aug, 2012 @ 8:10am
Santa Anna? Taqueria?, really? you could have just gonnne the extra mile and just add "ranchero with big hat" as the unique unit
McCain Palin  [author] 26 Aug, 2012 @ 7:39pm
Dang, I thought I had that fixed. Sorry about that.
isnorden 26 Aug, 2012 @ 7:10pm
Your Dawn of Man speech still refers to Sam Houston; please fix or the Revolution scenario will get VERY confusing,
