Holding down shift while using the Physics gun Allows you to rotate in 45° angles & the right click function of the weld tool

Another thing I did, Was I used the Stacking tool mod To make essentially a corner for the walls to slide into so that way it would be perfectly aligned with the block.
You can also do this with the right click function of the weld gun and the small markers on the corners of the blocks but it's more difficult
