This takes me back to Oblivion. Wolves were a legitmate threat from lower to mid levels, and their attacks were much more prone to stagger the player.
Great mod!

I know, great mod man! Wolf's comment just kind of made me smile. Vanilla wolves are about as intimidating as my chihuahua. I probably would've upped their attack even more than you did :)

@Pumpernickel thats the point of this mod, to make them tougher.

@Wolf and Robot Key: In real life? My character can stand in a group of three vanilla wolves wearing nothing but his loin cloth and they struggle to make my health bar move. In real life even a single wolf (which would defenitely be aggressive if hungry and you're alone) would have no trouble tearing a man in a loin cloth apart.

*in a world

Yeah but this is skyrim, not real life. I always just think of it as the wolves in skyrim are dumber, larger, and more fearsome than in real life. They would have to be in world with trolls, magic, dragons, and giants lol

Wolves aren't nearly as agressive as they are made out to be, they are actually kind of whimps in real life.

I don't think the mods would conflict. My mod only edits vannila wolves. If he made new races for his wolves it should be fine.

Would this mod be compatible with 'Skyrim Wildlife Overhaul' by gothic2392? It adds an entirely new kind of wolf (Dire Wolves) to the Skyrim leveled lists, so would this mod affect them?

Thank you, much appreciated.

@Skyrim: Mods and More: I'm glad someone enjoyed it. I personally liked having it there, but as you can probably see when looking at the comments, was a little too much on expert. I play tested this mod with low level characters on normal, expert, and master, and found it fairly balanced. But when creating a new game and walking down the road to riverwood on expert or master without Hadvar or Rolough (still don't know how to spell that) the alpha wolf is a bit too much for most. So I took Him out. By the way, have you fought any ice wolves yet? Those are pretty fun with this mod :p

That wolfpack with the alpha, just before Riverwood, was one hell of a "Welcome to Skyrim!" sign. Scared the bejeebus out of me knowing it was coming up.
RobotKey  [author] 13 Jan, 2013 @ 6:20pm
Removed Alpha wolf from beggining trail to Riverwood. Again, sorry about that. v2 also makes wolves have (slightly) less health. By slightly, I mean about 10 points for normal and 15 for ice. They should no longer slaughter low level players.

I love this mod it is super amazing and you should all subscribe to it and this is not Robot Key on another computer! ;)
RobotKey  [author] 4 Oct, 2012 @ 4:27pm
@grishalit7: Yeah, I don't play on expert usually. Sorry about that. I usually play on normal, and sticking with Hadvar or Reilough (don't know how to spell that) Is the best way to get around the wolves at the begining with this mod activated. After that, they aren't that powerful, until you run into ice wolves.
grishalit7 4 Oct, 2012 @ 9:44am
Ahh... sorry to unsubscribe but the first wolves ripped my Redguard to shreds. First of all there was a 4th wolf(Alpha wolf) which had three times the HP of the regulr and the other three had twice the health of a regular. The attack seemed to be the same though but on Expert it was a bit too much for a poor level 2 player(in heavy armor).
grishalit7 4 Oct, 2012 @ 8:06am
Thanks,subed!
RobotKey  [author] 4 Oct, 2012 @ 7:45am
@grishalit7: No, I increased normal wolves by about a third of their health and 1 point more bite damage. I only increased the ice wolves by a fourth of their health, and again, only 1 more of bite damage. They are not impossable, but they are tougher. As for the wolf howl, I'm guessing that messes with wolf race audio, so it should be compatable with this. All I did was mess with stats.
grishalit7 3 Oct, 2012 @ 12:20pm
Does this works with the wolf howl fix on Nexus? Also while I think regular are too weak, I find Ice wolf's biting 1/4 of my HP on Expert difficulty. Will this mod make them unkillable?(especally for mage characters). I need to know before I subscribe, but I like the idea!.
Jasher 9 Sep, 2012 @ 10:39pm
Yeah, wolfs in skyrim are wimps!
RobotKey  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 12:50am
@david.matheis: thanks glad you think so.
Feldsperling 8 Sep, 2012 @ 12:30am
cool thx and a very cool mod
RobotKey  [author] 7 Sep, 2012 @ 2:15pm
@david.matheis: If the wolf follower uses any of the wolf races I modifyed, then yes.
Feldsperling 7 Sep, 2012 @ 10:21am
i have a follower mod did u think my followerwolf is strong too ?
Jaboll 28 Aug, 2012 @ 4:09pm
@[1MvM] Syborg Slayer Engie actually in Bloodmoon they were pretty strong, could easily beat Nix Hounds from Morrowind wilds.
RobotKey  [author] 27 Aug, 2012 @ 4:39pm
Also summoning a familiar and having it killed in 1 - 2 hits by ANYTHING in the game gets annoying, it is the lowest level summon, but cmon.
RobotKey  [author] 27 Aug, 2012 @ 4:34pm
Wolves are still weak with this mod. They just aren't push overs to level one players anymore.
JayTea 27 Aug, 2012 @ 4:04pm
but i guess it depends how much u suck at skyrim to get eatin in 30 secs:P
JayTea 27 Aug, 2012 @ 4:03pm
imagine bein lvl one goin to whiterun and RAR wolf eats u in 30 secs
JayTea 27 Aug, 2012 @ 4:03pm
well ya see... wolves have ALWAYS been weak throughout teh elder scrolls series:/ they r a starter enemy
