Is it possible to have this mod without the Project Infinite dependency? Is it just the Lee Enfield you're using that for? I have the Project OPFOR mod which already has the Lee Enfield

yea, although this mod and my cdf mod might be messed up because of recent rhs updates. you can give it a shot. let me know if it doesnt work and ill try to fix it.

you dont need bcombat. i just happened to be running it at the time when i took the screenshots. i didnt mean to, it was an accident that messed up some of the screenshots with the watermark. its not required or anything.

why in your screenshots it bcombat showing its booting up when its not in your mods list? is thata a needed mod for this scenario? and can it run with ACE?

yeah i take that into consideration. a lot of people already have cup and with it i can add in technicals and stuff like that, but if they dont have it it will be a big ass download so i probably wont add it in unless people want it added in.

Ok man I had a buddy help out... so what I was doing was clicking OPFOR folder on the left and expecting them to appear under the mods@RHS Taliban when only clicked on the F1 blue menu on the right... THat was my problem... I thought the F2 Red was fro groups the 3 men icon threw me off. I clicked on the red which is what he told me to do when he saw that I was clicked on the blue. Their Icon threw me off. After clicking the red I found the units.

I dont think you should make these rely on CUP as were weighing the downloads and saw that CUP units required Weapons and some other stuff that makes their Download over 4 gigs while if you get these its around 3. Thank you for the reply. If you have the classnames that would help me out alot. Since the folder structure is retarded for mods now.

i'll check it out. rhs and other stuff got updated a few times. it might have messed it up somehow. if its messed up ill edit the classnames and fix it and i might add a few things. i may also remove the project infinite dependency and add a cup dependency if that is desired. i feel like the cup clothing for pashtun arabs et al is a little slicker. ill also fix the server key.

Not trying to sound like a total newb here but Ive installed all required mods I went into the game witth these mods all on and when I went into the editor to place them under Mods@RHS Taliban there is nothing there, the same goes for civilian. I tried clicking on OPFOR and Independent and nothing is there I also ran a search for Taliban and nothing returns. Where did I go wrong here?
I intended to place them down and make a mission so I could view the mission.sqm but I cant find them under where they should be located.

Will I need a Server key to host a session using a mission made with these? I recall in A2 you had to on some mods.

Hey can i get the classnames on these guys? Im trying to recreate a mission from Arma 2 and Im going to swap old classnames with new ones. But..Im new to A3 and I dont see where to get the Classnames. Do you have a classnames list? Or will have to somehow crack open the mod files?

yea there should be groups like that in rhs. and yea you can add ai mods and it should be ok.

if you wanted to add an A-10 or some air force plane you can either hold down alt and drag it to put it in the sky or just set it by a runway. then give it seek and destroy waypoint over the battle area.

there's a lot of missions on the workshop you can download and play without having to make anything, but its fun to have control and be able to set up whatever scenario you dream of.

i made a small example mission for you to take apart/play. just put its folder in your "My Documents/Arma 3/missions" folder and you should be able to open it in the editor in-game. here it is:

in this small mission you are part of a mounted marine rifle squad. you can select several different roles. the objective of the mission is to clear all taliban from the red circle on your map. you spawn at the blue icon on the map.

yeah henry you can make them fight each other.

there's a mission editor in the game. you can zoom around in noclip mode and place down units, vehicles, objects and other stuff and give them orders to follow. you can find some tutorials for it online. it's not very hard to figure out.

to make something simple all you gotta do is do this: in the editor press F2 to go to the "Group" window, you should see on the right side of the screen a big list of a bunch of different armies and three sides (blue, green and red) so just find marines or army under blue. put down a group of marines or army somewhere and then click around to the red side and put down a taliban group. now hit F4 and itll open up the waypoint menu. select the US group and put a seek and destroy waypoint on top of the taliban group, do the same thing for the taliban. those two groups will move towards each other and try to find and destroy one another.
