@Kaltsit M.D. I'm maybe down to make so blank signs so can put your own numbers symbols and text on to the signs.

Does this work with the new Airports DLC and Prop Anarchy (EML Version)?

@Kaltsit M.D. Additional numbers cannot be added, since the atlas is already filled. Instead, new assets would have to be created.

plz make more yellow and black number, its not enough to number all the runways and boarding gate. And a dot to mark the route to the right runway

@SA547PH A blank version of what? A yellow square, a red square, the entire sign? Etc.
A new asset could potentially be uploaded with a smaller atlas, but this asset can’t be modified as it would mean removing something from the texture atlas.
I had considered procedural object support, but I think it will be more complex than you imagine. Multiple different sizes would be needed, otherwise the texture will stretch if you attempt to resize it manually, unless procedural objects allows you to modify UVs.

Just an idea: why not a blank version allowing the use of Procedural Objects so as to be able for the user to add in designations in one go? :)

thanks for the guides on how to properly place. These guides really explain the science of runway language. After watching the tutorials featuring your props, subscribing is a must. But its always dope to understand what your building, why your building it and how it functions (and makes other stuff function)

used at Tegel :( :O no biggie tbh I'm just bustin' balls
vasimr22  [author] 21 Aug, 2019 @ 12:23pm
@AmiPolizeiFunk There is no straight-up / straight-down arrow. It's rarely used, so we decided not to include it (we had limited space in the atlas).
AmiPolizeiFunk 21 Aug, 2019 @ 3:23am
where is straight up arrow eh boss? :P :medkit:

@vasimr22 Ah I see. Thanks for your answer!

@jericho There wasn't room in the texture atlas to add more numbers. I uploaded the texture atlas as one of the asset images, so you can see for yourself. The only option would have been to use more textures (which we didn't want to do), or to give up space by removing other indicators, all of which are more common in airports than takiway numbers above 7. You could always fake it and break some up into their own taxiway names.

@vasmir22 This is great for my airport project! But I've got a small question. Why there's only 1-7 for the Taxiway Location sign and Crossing Taxiway sign? As the airport I'm recreating had 13 taxiway exits as A1-13. Thanks!
vasimr22  [author] 8 Dec, 2017 @ 1:49pm
@mrglide There was limited space on the texture atlas, and we decided that the CAT signs were not as important. I think we are also missing an ILS hold logo (for the other side).
mrglide 8 Dec, 2017 @ 1:44pm
Great pack, but bizarrely one of the most important signs is missing - 'CAT I/II/III'
honkalonka 30 Oct, 2017 @ 1:46pm
I'm missing the CAT :)

@hkcgalantfan001 Unfortunately that would be more effort than it is worth, since we would need to redo the texture (the easy part), and then import the new assets one at a time (all 26). Besides, the current props are a bit small to be used as general signs, so they would need new models too. I think a better solution is to just make a custom sign for what ever you want a sign for - it would be more efficient for the engine anyways.

Hey guys, this is great!. Thank you!. Quick question on if this is possbile. Do you guys think you could release just the letters from a to z with a white backround instead of yellow. A kinda of "Create your own sign prop pack". Changing the color would make them more acceptible(looks wise) for placing at the entrance to parks, ports, airports, etc, which I could imagine is what such a pack could be used for. Just a suggestion and thanks for these!.

@Tomcat thanks! It took some time to create this pack, but totally worth it!

Really nice for detailed realistic airport projects.
