Would it possible to make a version based on policies rather then edicts? The issue with edicts is that you cannot disable them...

This worked for me up until the latest update 2.2.5 (current) build. Now it still adds influence, but it lasts for 1130 years or something and there is no way to stop the edict. Before it only lasted 10 years. I would turn it on at beginning of game and after 10 years it would end. I then would only turn it on again when I was getting low on Influence. I do not understand why it was working all the way up to and including 2.2.4 and now with 2.2.5 it is not. I am using the same mods I always have. Haven't added anything new.

I actually got this just so i could do stuff with megastructures without having to not build any spacebases (Meaning expanding) for several billion turns.

Love this mod and won't play without it. Easy fix by adding a length to the edicts.

length = 36525 #Days in game - 36525 days = 111 years

I was really upset they pulled Diplomatic Center's ability to store and grant extra Influence. This is a great mod for 1.6, thanks!
