sorry I am just gonna be maintaining my mods not adding to or creating more. Currently developing our own game with some of the community.

Is there any possibility we could add other artwork to this mod? I'm thinking in particular about religious iconography for medieval churches etc. such as a painting of the Virgin Mary or the crucifixion. This has a lot of potential, if at all possible.

No worries just glad it works

The offset in the camera in third person strikes again... When I tried to place the paintings in first person, I had no problem. Sorry for the confusion.
wolfgar7474  [author] 18 Feb, 2018 @ 7:58pm
Hope it goes well. i did not test it on a flipped blocks and both sides so it could be just a weird spot on the collision on the wall
sonicthe 18 Feb, 2018 @ 7:22pm
No, a vanilla clay one. I think I tried flipping it around when I did it, but I may not have. I'll try that tomorrow and let you know how it goes. It seemed I had to have the block horizontal instead of vertical, though. Maybe there was some interference with something I couldn't see, or I was too close with it vertical, but not horizontal. I'll try moving around and see what happens. Thanks.
wolfgar7474  [author] 18 Feb, 2018 @ 5:52pm
Hi i just tested this and i was able to place on all vanilla walls and had no troubles. there is a front and back, if you rotate sideways you can see which way easier. Is the wall a mod wall?
sonicthe 18 Feb, 2018 @ 5:42pm
Is anyone else having an issue where the Lady with Ermine and Leonardo paintings will only "hang" sideways? It may be the wall I'm trying to put them on, too, but I can't get them to attach the right direction.

wolfgar7474  [author] 19 May, 2017 @ 4:54am
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (Italian: [leoˈnardo di ˌsɛr ˈpjɛ:ro da (v)ˈvintʃi] ( listen); 15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519), more commonly Leonardo da Vinci or simply Leonardo, was an Italian polymath whose areas of interest included invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He has been variously called the father of palaeontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time. Sometimes credited with the inventions of the parachute, helicopter and tank,[1][2][3] he epitomised the Renaissance humanist ideal.

wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 8:54pm
Thanks Kobi for the Data. I added some more things to the Mod ;)
Köbi 15 May, 2017 @ 1:30pm
Very nice. Thanks!
wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 1:22pm
Hi Kobi they are centered now but I kept scale the same. I seen most of his paintings were real small so I didnt want to make them all small. So a bit of historical in-accuracy for a larger beauty lol.
wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 11:31am
Hmm ok I didnt even think about that for historical accuracy. I will look into this when I am fixing the center line up. Thanks for the tip ;)
Köbi 15 May, 2017 @ 11:26am
Great. That is nice. When you are at it and if you care about realistic and historic accuracy: The actual mona-lisa is surprisingly only around a quarter as big as in your mod. :) I don't know about the others though.
wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 11:22am
Now that I think about it I can offset it in blender by a half block the white collision box would not be centered in the painting but the Painting would be centered. I wont change size and I will test it on a actual wall instead of STORIS white blocks so I can see that it is centered. Have no fear brother I will work with ya lol
Köbi 15 May, 2017 @ 11:12am
I mean you can resize them, but do not mess with the proportions, those need to be perfect. I will not hang them, if they are distorted.
wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 11:09am
Oh ok lol I won't.
Köbi 15 May, 2017 @ 11:06am
Plz dont resize them. That would be sad. I can live happy with them uncentered. :)
wolfgar7474  [author] 15 May, 2017 @ 11:04am
Oh ok Im sorry. I will see if i can fix this. I will resize the actual Painting to fit better on walls. I thought the collision was keeping you from centering but your right we would need half block position which isn't possible. Thanks for the report back. I want to make sure people are happy with the Mods ;)
Köbi 15 May, 2017 @ 10:53am
Hi wolfgar. Thanks for your effort, but I am affraid this will not solve the issue. I will try to explain it better: The wall is 10 miniblocks wide, but the (collision size) paintings are an uneven nummer of miniblocks wide. (Like 1, 3, 5, 7) But to center them on an even (10) wall, they would either need to be 2, 4, 6 or 8 wide and the center of the painting would need to be in the middle of two miniblocks. (and can not be on the center of one miniblock) Or with an odd miniblock width (collision size) you would need to offset the center by half a miniblock. This is what I meant :)
wolfgar7474  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Hi Kobi. I adjusted the collison size of the Paintings so its only 1 block wide. I uploaded a Pic for a example. This way I not altering the good size of the paintings and you can place very easily at center now.
wolfgar7474  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 4:18pm
Cool glad to hear and thanks again. Hmm i didn't even think about the centering and I do want them to be centered for better looks. I will see if I can adjust them a bit ;)
Köbi 14 May, 2017 @ 3:36pm
Found it! Made them! I did not check the furnace, sorry. They look amazing! To good to be true. They are museum quality. Very nice. The only bad thing is: They are all an odd size. So if I place them on a normal wall, they are not centered. But otherwise perfect. :)
wolfgar7474  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Ok. All seems ok and I renamed the Pinecone Powder to Just pinecone. I didnt know anyother way to make it with the limited materials we have. I figure the woodens sticks are mainly pines anyway. So I hope it works out ok. Thanks.
wolfgar7474  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 3:12pm
Thanks! glad to be back. Its not really powder pine cone its just pinecones. I didnt wanna title it Pinecone Powder. The oil you should be able to melt in the furnace. I will double check these to make sure its all ok.
Köbi 14 May, 2017 @ 2:48pm
Hi Wolfgar. So nice to have you back! And better than ever.

I dont can do it, I made pinecones in the mill. But I cannot get any further. I cannot grind them into powder in the mill, and have no idea where to make poppySeedOil...

I cannot find where. Plz help. I want those!
