@Mattchew Thanks a lot for playing! I'm glad you liked this oldie, and I agree with you that that part is the nicest surprise of the map. That angled panel is there for people who somehow were able to put the laser cube on the button skewed in such a way that it still hits the receiver. I kinda hate that I gave in to preventing something as dumb as this because it kinda ruins the aesthetic... Maybe some day this one deserves a remake... :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

An older map of yours, but such a fun shuffler. the way you weave in out of the separate areas is very fascinating. The re-use of the light-bridge was unexpected but so welcome. I am curious why there is an half-angled panel next to the cube button, doesn't seem to prevent anything so was for aesthetic? / Great work, faved!

Excellent map,I enjoyed a lot! I believe creating it is more difficult than solving it.

you are incredible, these are so simple yet complex.

Was shocked for a solid second when the ball got respawned once i placed the cube! Would argue the difficulty is a bit lower for me due to one's options being extremely limited after one of the cubes being fixed into place. Love that the introduction of the light bridge was for the one purpose that became quite clear as one plays along. Overall good work!

@mabelpines I don't think it is necessary to do that to solve the puzzle... :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Is it intended solution?? Roll the ball

@RotakeR Thank you for the kind words! Great work solving this one the proper way :cozycrashfish:

Brilliant and elegant. Couldn't resist the urge to do some cube tossing at first, but I'm glad I decided to solve it normally after. Amazing puzzle.

@ForsacaZ Thank you! It's always more satisfying to work out the intended solution :cozycrashfish: Great work sticking with it :D

Hey! My previous (sorry if spelled wrong) comment was written because i was bored and wanted to cheese everything i can. Now i completed the intented solution and... I just want to say thanks. Thanks for creating this wonderful, interesting and fun map. This was one my one of the hardest and unforgetful puzzles of my life. I know, i may sound lying but i am not. I love this map!

@yeputons Thank you so much :D I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed this puzzle, and excellent work solving it! This puzzle will always have a special place in my heart too :cozycrashfish:
yeputons 28 Aug, 2023 @ 11:41am
Holy moly! Pure logic indeed. I have no idea how you came up with this puzzle, my respect. No throws. No jumps. No ultra-precise portal placement, hidden panels, thin gaps, or special tricks that you don't know from the main campaign (maaaaaybe except the spoilered one later). No timing trickery at all; if you have to worry about sphere rolling away, you are either doing something wrong or don't know you can place sphere in a switch to keep it in place .

Everything is in plain sight: four corners, a center, only two walls for placing portals, three cube/sphere-issuing machines, a bunch of buttons, laser emitter, laser receiver. And, yes, the square button that activates the door also does something else that is (not) helpful at times.

Why this map isnt named "Throw simulator"?
SArpnt 22 Aug, 2023 @ 2:17pm
making the exit button respawn the ball is hilarious
SpL15 30 Jun, 2023 @ 9:04am
@Mikeastro Don't worry, this has happened with other maps before, plus I found that taking a break from a game is really refreshing and allows you to come back more motivated than ever.
Mikeastro  [author] 30 Jun, 2023 @ 12:56am
@SpiderLucas15 Oh no! I'm very sorry to hear that my map made you quit the game for a while :[ Great work solving it in the end though!
SpL15 29 Jun, 2023 @ 4:39pm
I stopped playing Portal 2 for a while because I couldn't figure out the solution to this one, I was so frustrated. Now I've just come back to this map and the solution came out almost naturally, really clever and more straightforward than I thought. Very good map!
tstaffor 20 Jan, 2023 @ 4:56am
I'm not sure you're aware of this cheese but you can complete this without ever needing to use portals or any elements besides the laser cube, the ball, and the 2 buttons for the exit. You can just throw the cube over the water and then once it's on the button, throw the ball over two pools of water and then win.

Maybe I'm lucky. I think this puzzle goes well
Test Chamber Junkie 27 Nov, 2022 @ 9:52pm
My biggest challenge was figuring out which cube needed to be on the button attached to the exit. Once that was sorted out, it was pretty easy after that[/url]. Well done.

@Robothedgehog That's what I love about this puzzle :D

Got to the situation in the puzzle preview picture, feeling smart for beating it, only to realize the consequence of placing the cube on the button...

...Then the real puzzle began...

@secondtim1112 Thank you so much for playing! Excellent work solving this one; it's not easy at all. I hope you will continue to enjoy my puzzles :D
@Teo Thank you for the kind words! I am very curious to learn what your current top 3 looks like :P
secondtim1112 15 Aug, 2022 @ 7:53pm
Amazing puzzle and very elegant without requiring any crazy gimmick. Took a lot of steps and smart thinking for something in a relatively small straight forward looking room. Hardest puzzle I've done but very rewarding slowly figuring out how to progress. If you are stuck or cheating the level by throwing the cube and pushing against the door I encourage you keep playing it and finish it properly.

All of the other puzzles of yours I've completed were 3.5/10 at most so this was definitely a step up for me.

I had put this puzzle back in my queue last year in order to replay it, but funnily enough I couldn't resolve it. Finally cracked it the other day ( it was the reuse of the bridge that I was stuck on ) and, as I said two years ago, this is a special puzzle. Definitely in my top 3 maps of yours :>

@Inifroyo Thanks for playing! Excellent work solving this difficult puzzle :D This is still one of my favourites of myself haha. Admirable tenacity sticking with it for three days. Glad you liked it :cozycrashfish:
Inifroyo 23 Apr, 2022 @ 5:27pm
Man this puzzle was just awesome, the only words I can muster to describe it, it took probably 3 different days of me going back and fourth with the solution in my head, one day I got to the final part of the puzzle, and then spent 30 minutes thinking on how it was impossible and I messed up, only for me to realize tommorow that I was on the right track in the first place.

@DemonMathTeacher Haha thank you! It's pretty tricky indeed. Great work solving it :D

Still a brilliant puzzle; which probably to me as long to complete this time, as it did the first time!

Nice

@Senator Brainstrong Thank you very much! Your solution was perfect. I'm honoured to hear that you plan on playing my entire workshop - some maps might be better than others (especially back in the day :p) but I hope you will enjoy most of them regardless. I'm glad you enjoyed Morphism and Isomorphism, those maps turned out very well imho :] And yeah, there's a few fairly difficult maps in my workshop here and there, but since you bested all of Leo's workshop, I think you'll be able to solve them all. Good luck and have fun ^_^
Alric 7 Jun, 2020 @ 3:35am
Nice puzzle! I enjoyed it. I wish it were harder so I could spend more time with it because I liked the layout and the catch :D I'm going chronologically through your entire workshop. Seeing that this is one of your earliest maps, I'm intrigued to see what's next, and I'm also excited for your music. I played Morphism, Isomorphism and maybe a few other maps too some time ago, and from what I remember, I had a lot of fun! I noticed that you rated the difficulty of some of your maps 7.5/10. I can't wait to try those, especially now that I have Leomievs' workshop under my belt :D
