Hey, i'm new to modding but trying to individualise your mod, basically making a mod of your mod lul.
I'd appreciate your help because i'm trying to add a DMG bonus to Rage (and only Rage, similairly to how Rake only buffs itselfs) when used at deathsdoor but having trouble to make it work. I also had the idea to add a stunning effect on Slam that only triggers if it was a critical hit, since it already has a decent debuff.

I have been using your mod and I have checked that the protection of the crusader and the other mercenaries wearing heavy armor does not raise the protection you mention, could you please check

Hey guys I have updated the mod and it should now work properly with the new Color of Madness DLC. I am sorry you had to wait but I haven't even tried the DLC myself yet :steamhappy:

If it doesn't work try to unsubscribe, restart steam, and then subscribe again.
If you have an in-game issue after you've done that, leave a comment.

I did not add the new abilties and stats changes from the DLC (except for the new buff you get when you crit) and I do not plan to add them anytime soon. If you want to make these changes feel free to use the files from this mod and upload your version (just put my nickname somewhere). I can also update this mod with your modifications, your work will of course be credited.

Thanks for the work, I like your view of the classes. By the number of comments and requests. You should add a description of how to make hem incompatible with religious characters, which I also agree with. soo, I will write here briefly.

open it with txt file, notepad or something and add the next line:
incompatible_party_member: .id abomination_religion .hero_tag religious
It's crucial to add it after line: mode: .id beast .bark_override

I'd say the religious class incompatibility should be back, for peace of mind. It just feels wrong having access to it. Its very tempting to do so too. Human nature amirite

My favorite change is the stress to the rest of the company when using the single target attack (rage). I very often have to consider whetther the stress is worth it which spices up the gameplay.

Religious incompatability makes no logical sense since the assumption is you are all on the same team; everyone is a paid-for mercenary. Anyone not on-board with that would be ejected from the estate grounds promptly. As for the rake dmg change, I assume its to balance for the fact it was given a flat 20% damage boost baseline; allowing both a flat booth +scaling buffs is clearly overpowered.

Like the others say its better to keep him incompatible to religious classes like seriously a leper and abomination combo is too op.

I agree to why remove rake damage buff? I like how you boosted his manacle and beast's bile skill but i didn't enjoy the changes to his beast form

I like the changes, I kinda wish stress was reduced for the Abomination, but I still like the changes.
I am also in favour of keeping the incompatibility with religious parties, it just makes sense.

I feel religious class incompatibility should still be a thing; it was a very interesting quality that suggested dynamic relationships between your characters outside of the dungeon.

At the very lest, it did make sense, considering the fact that the Abomination, well... IS an Abomination.

Otherwise, great mod, 8.5 out of 10

I found the culprit. It was another mod modifying the Vestal, that was also affecting new classes. ^_^ Disabled it and on a brand-new run, everything works now.

If the religious classes were still incompatible it means the mod wasn't activated at all, there is no way you had the abilities/stats changes but not the incompatibility removed, are you sure you have no other mod modifying classes?

Not bad, but I think the stress damage is waaaayy too high now. I ran with the new Abom for 3 or 4 quests and it's unmanageable even with a Jester--the best stress healer. The human-form is much better than vanilla, but you still have to play a lot like vanilla which is simple avoid using the transformation.

A better idea would be to just buff the raw damage when transformed (leaving it at your high stress rates) to sort of make it a "last resort" option. Otherwise, it's not very viable for the second half of a quest since your party members will already have quite a bit of stress built up.

Also, religious classes are still incompatible for me.

I really like this stress mechanic so I don't feel like removing it completely, have you tried playing the abomination with a jester or a crusader in your party to reduce the stress? Do you think the DMG output of the Abomination isn't worth the stress DMG at the moment?

I unsub'd because of the stress damage. I found it far too high a price to pay, especially in the later levels when things start to get really nasty.

No problem , it is great to be able to participate. By the way , once you reach Midgame I'd say Jester becomes almsot a must have if you wanna balance the stress with Abo , which I find balaned because your update gives the Abomination a lot of tools ( he has alot even without this update to me , I find him very strong). And I must admit , it's funny to see everyone on your party around 150 stress whil your Abo is around 20 whn he's frontline ! :stress:

While most of the balance is great , I must say I find the +8 stress on his main attacks VERY punishing in the early game and if you play in normal or hard, especially when you don't have the stress heal nor the items to cope with it. It adds really fast with the Stress from the transformation.

tbh I never knew why slam wasn't a stun in the first place, I guess because of balance but it makes so much more sense to be a stun too thanks for making this
