I dunno, my main issue is it turns his two buffs from something that lasts the entire battle, to something you have to keep refreshing.

Lukem, prot for the leper is actually not bad, because now he can be an even better tank! plus he can solo stuff easier now. Oh and I agree with the fact that you keep the front rows alive, because I always bring a pull to help the leper smash stress dealers. Weird rework but interesting.

The Leper doesn't need PROT because he already has the most base HP in the entire game.

Hey Loklin,

I've had a lot of fun with you're Unchained series. It's really cool seeing how other people imagine playstyles for these characters. But I'm having an issue with the leper in particular. I get the blight debuffs and the blight effects, but for some reason his natural PROT isn't working.

Please let me know what can be done to fix this.

Hey guys I have updated the mod and it should now work properly with the new Color of Madness DLC. I am sorry you had to wait but I haven't even tried the DLC myself yet :steamhappy:

If it doesn't work try to unsubscribe, restart steam, and then subscribe again.
If you have an in-game issue after you've done that, leave a comment.

I did not add the new abilties and stats changes from the DLC (except for the new buff you get when you crit) and I do not plan to add them anytime soon. If you want to make these changes feel free to use the files from this mod and upload your version (just put my nickname somewhere). I can also update this mod with your modifications, your work will of course be credited.

The entire Heroes Unchained series needs to update for CoM. Please update!

I'm having an issue with these mods where they keep scrambling the hero files. This results in the heroes abilites to have tweeks from the mods I subscribed to (e.g. Plague doctor and leper Unchained), but the rest of their abilities have no effect. Not only that, but also, whenever I try to make changes to the heroes stats (be it through another mod or editing the info file) the defective changes still persist. Even when i unsubscribe/delete the files from the mod folder the defective changes are still there.
At first it started with the leper where I noticed some of his attack have modifications from your leper unchained mod, but, solemity and withstand have no effect; No attack description when I hover over the icon and does nothing when activated in battle. Now i'm starting to see these changes manifest in the plague doctor and it's really starting to worry me.
I tried verifying the game files but that didn't help.
Is there anyway you could help me solve this issue?

what the leaper really needs is something that can do damage to at least one of the back two rows.
Mayhaps make his intimidate blight.

I think it's good to make some change with 4~7 skills rather than the 1st ~ 3rd skills

Well I don't think give Leper these mechanism with Blight is a good idea. Leper is already powerful enough with DMG and dont need further dot support to kill the enemy. If you want to rebalance or enhance Leper, maybe give him a Guard ability or better ACC buff / Dodge debuff?

How to help Leper....give him even more damage potential! Wait.... sorry but these changes do nothing to help his real issues. Doesn't need blight dmg if two attacks kill any mob anyway. Needs versatility and rebalance. I like to think i did a decent job on him myself.

These changes are definitely a change in the right direction for the leper. He was much deserving of some more versatility, although he is still outclassed when it comes to attacking the backrow.

The only skill I never used was protect because the leper is tanky enough as is and it's not guaranteed that the enemies will attack the leper after his defense is buffed. Perhaps you can add some utility to that? E.g. clearing marks off others and marking himself or adding armor penetration as a buff.

the problem with the leper is that he only deals damage and is only functional in the front two spots. he can't move up that well if he gets shuffled, his attacks are very inaccurate, his healing and stress healing aren't that good, and he can't hit the back rows

Pls change Revenge. Its really underpowered

I'd suggest moving him forward and allowing him to pull a target because as it stands, the leper is less powerful when compared to other classes for his lack of ability against the 3rd and 4th row. I would also suggest changing purge if you implement the revenge changes so it isn't redundant. Possibly as a 3-4row aoe that does more damage to blighted targets.

I love what you're doing here with these mods, and I think the Leper is one of those classes that needs work in the base game. Here are my suggestions if it helps...

The only changes the Leper needs is to be able to attack the third row and possibly the fourth using a reduced DMG attack, perhaps. Otherwise these guys are pretty much outclassed by other tanks like the Crusader. You could also try giving them a team stress heal ability. I love the idea of lepers but they're not balanced very well in the base game.

I think Bleed damage is more appropriate for him, instead of blight. I know he's a leper and all but it's not like having Leprosy makes your weapons instantly poison and damage the enemy health like its coated in acid. Bleed would also make more sense as he's using an executioner sword, and i'm pretty sure those can inflict some scary wounds into enemies.

Some of you mods are conflicted with the "Protection Mod". I like this rework of Leper, but i don't want to remove Protection mod, could you please make it compatible

Love your mods, they make the game a lot better in my opinion but I have one problem with this particular one. My Lepers do not have the prot that this is supposed to add. I uninstalled my other mods to see if that would fix it and they dont. Any idea why this happens?? Thanks man

Because leper dosnt have an easy enough time hitting 80's and maxing his prot. The only change i'd make to the class from default state is his non-hew/chop skills being useable from any position.

@Shoggoththe12 Yes it would sure make the Leper stronger but I'm not sure I want to give him too much mobility, the lack of mobility is what makes the Leper the Leper if you know what I mean. =)

intimidate really should be a forward one, from ranks 3 and 4 instead of just 3. would kind of be more helpful, in my opinion. kinda like holy lance.

I do not plan to rework the Antiquarian (maybe I'll change my mind one day =D ), I'm working on the Occultist atm and I am still testing a few things before releasing it, it should be done by tomorrow! As for the Houndmaster I have not found yet a cool way to rework him so I don't know!
