Dead mod?
nanner 27 May, 2024 @ 11:54am
Can confirm. The mod does not work. It appears to do nothing.

@bogdanoff, there's quite a few tutorials out there for creating custom groups and compositions, i'd reccomend using ALiVE to make a few basic, custom groups and classes, even entire factions are allowed. there's a few things you have to do that are file related, but other than that it's really quite simple
Alpha 5 Sep, 2019 @ 10:08am
I would love the idea of this mod, unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
serial 1 Feb, 2019 @ 10:22am
Any good tutorials I can watch to do something similar to this mod? I’ve saved custom compositions of various special forces groups using vanilla items that I’d like to upload to the workshop for my friends and I. Am I looking at a lot of work ahead for somebody who has zero experience uploading mods or is it not too difficult
Unknown Kiwi 12 Nov, 2018 @ 8:07pm
For some sad reason this mod doesn't work for me anymore :/ Love it though
Drake Xanders 16 Aug, 2018 @ 2:32am
Ah alright, Well It's nice to hear that it's still being worked on. Love the idea behind the mod and I do hope you manage to acomplish what you're settin' out to do here.

@Weed La Weed No, its just everytime I think I got time to work on it, something comes up. But there is some progress being made.
Drake Xanders 29 Jul, 2018 @ 9:54am
So uh, is this done diddled dead now?
ICE | Levi 25 Jan, 2018 @ 3:45pm
Seems like a file requires CBA, try to put CBA in the dependecies of your mod!
MiniBiggi 30 Dec, 2017 @ 4:03am
how far off would that be? :)

Thank you, I waited for such a mod! :) I just think the MX rifles are just getting ugly and annoying over time.
Mad Max 8 Jun, 2017 @ 8:54pm
Can you replace the NATO ACO sights with Mk17 Holosights and the regular RCOs with MRCOs? I think the normal NATO red dot sights are unrealistic and small and the RCO is calibrated for 6.5mm not 5.56mm
Subutai 26 May, 2017 @ 4:16pm
He can't really make a non Apex version considering the whole point of the mod is to replace vanilla weapons with weapons FROM Apex... :/
ZERO 25 May, 2017 @ 1:15pm
pls make an rhs version for those who dont have apex. I would ove this :D
Payne Smith 24 May, 2017 @ 1:45pm
RHS version of the NATO would be useful in the campaign.
Baxman11 24 May, 2017 @ 11:45am
RHS Version. I would also suggest a RHS USAF Version for AAF.

Quick Question Time Part 2

Would you all rather see the RHS Version of the NATO faction first, or the Alternate AAF and FIA?
Nugget Huxtable 21 May, 2017 @ 9:54pm
Don't forget that the US gov't wants to keep the armaments industry rolling, giving the best sparkly ones to the US armed forces and selling the last generation stuff to the newest allies. I think the US military would need to adopt a new round in order to jump start that whole process. That's the only way realistic way that I see the M16/M4 platform being replaced anytime soon. Particularly if it were a modular platform like the MX that we could share costs with Europe.
Nugget Huxtable 21 May, 2017 @ 9:53pm
This is a great idea for playing scenarios before 2035, which I do frequently.

The MX seems pretty carefully thought out to me. Unless there is a radical change in small arms combat, the sucessor to the M16/M4 platform will have generally the same form factor in terms of controls placement and whatnot. I think the 6.5 mm slug is the most compelling reason, assuming it is/would be an actual improvement to the 5.56 in all of the needed areas. It's not all about the bullet though; it's never about just one reason. It's stuff like the weight of the bullets when carried in bulk, how safe it is to transport, how long it can be safely stored, and so on.
Plinar 21 May, 2017 @ 9:16am
@Lopt_The_Brave because the world does not need a new better gun that does nothing new or better than previous one. For example M16 was replaced by M4 when M4 was needed in new strategical urban combat, and M16 was just too long. MX does nothing. + there are so many variants of m4 that are perfect, like AK. And we have enough weapons to arm generations after generations lol. So why bother making a new weapon?
Sneering 21 May, 2017 @ 5:39am
I don't really understand why the MX series is an unrealistic example of the US Military in 2035. The US have been considering replacing the M4 and M16 rifles for quite some time now. Economically, the MX series seems more cost efficent as it fires a caseless round, which is in theory cheaper than conventinal munitions. I am unsure of how each cost effective each rifle would be however, but it would be around on par with the M4 platform I can assume. With Militaries favouring simple, yet effective weapons that are cost efficent, the MX seems to fit that role better than the M16 and M4, not to mention that the MX standards most weapon types ( AR, Carbine, DMR, LSW ) Just some food for thought

Also What About the SPAR-16S?
RustPickle 20 May, 2017 @ 7:36pm
@kersakof Lemme' quote Kukalov here.
"The purpose I went with the MK-14 is because the M1A platform while old, is still super reliable, and with the value of the dollar falling lore-wise, it is a cheaper alternative to the Sig Rifle."
CoreCass 20 May, 2017 @ 5:11pm
wait. you swap the mk1 with a mk 18... in my oppinion it should be the otherway around. .. just my 2 cents
Griz 20 May, 2017 @ 3:35pm
I was hoping someone would do this
fezi 20 May, 2017 @ 2:06pm

CSAT version (china/russia/iran without the spacey helmets?)
GeneralKong 20 May, 2017 @ 9:51am
moduler would be prefered if possible
Jim Beam 20 May, 2017 @ 9:31am
IMO separate mods would be modular and allow for having a custom playstyle set to everyone's opinion and would probably be preffered to keep everything organized.
Ground-Beef Assistant  [author] 20 May, 2017 @ 9:27am
Quick Question Time

Would you all rather the factions to be their own seperate mods, or should I just throw them all into this one, and make one big mod?
Jim Beam 20 May, 2017 @ 9:17am
THANK YOU FOR THIS MOD, but i think you could have kept the Mk-1 dmr from marksmen dlc.
Ground-Beef Assistant  [author] 20 May, 2017 @ 8:56am
@Disco
Cheers :)
Ground-Beef Assistant  [author] 20 May, 2017 @ 8:56am
@Scarecrow
What Freeman said, I highly recommend The CSAT Mod. It changes so much that is just plain weird about the Iranian CSAT forces.
RustPickle 20 May, 2017 @ 8:06am
Just look down a bit. You will see the CSAT Modification. It makes them a bit less space age. That should also help with the BS armour.
Doc Hammer 20 May, 2017 @ 8:04am
I think that this is good but with the CSAT armor values it kinda doesn't work very well. CSAT kevlar suits eat 5.56 for breakfest. If you altered CSAT too it would be lit. Or your primary enemy would have to be GreenFor.
