Hey, Endless Symphony for Endless Space 2 just dropped with 7 (8 with Vaulter's Theme) more songs, could you add them to this mod? Thanks

When are we getting Time to Change in here? I need my Vaulter fix!
Von-Reaper 7 Jan, 2018 @ 4:46pm
Has it been updated to 1.9?

Thanks bunches for this, the Endless Space OST is so good for this kind of game.

Across the Dift is my favorite by far. Thank you for this.

Yes, it is 100% compatible with achievements - I've tested it myself.

I love the mod. Please make more :)
Quick question, Is this really compatible with achievements? (i encountered some mods that claim compatible with achievements, but turns out they're not)

Thanks for making this, I tried modding it myself but i did not have tools to change it from 48K Hz leaving the music with the popping sound.
Firedron  [author] 28 May, 2017 @ 4:18pm
It seems I’ve found what is causing “tic” sounds – original music was encoded with 48K Hz, but Stellaris engine can’t handle it well. I’ll update mod with proper encoded files today.

From what I tested the problem exist also in Crusader Kings 2 so it must be the game engine (Clausewitz)
Mathox 28 May, 2017 @ 9:26am
Ok after some very quick research i found that every custom soundtrack that "tic" are 320kb/s where as the one that don't are less than that usualy 256kb/s and a far down as 96kb/s for the Ghost in the Shell ost.
Mathox 28 May, 2017 @ 9:12am
If you play the soundtrack outside the game it's all fine but if you play it through the game you get the tic.
Mathox 28 May, 2017 @ 9:06am
Maybe something to do about bit rates or the way it's converted to .ogg.
Kilted'HuntingHorn'Key 27 May, 2017 @ 9:24pm
Yup! I get the tic too with this, the endless space one soundtrack, and that epic one. I don't know why all three have that. My Mass Effect and Halo works prefectly, but not those three.
Jeffica 27 May, 2017 @ 7:11pm
Yeah i noticed the the "tic" on alot of the songs. Got annoying real fast. Just gonna play soundtrack outside of game lol.
Mathox 27 May, 2017 @ 1:48pm
I found that there is a slight "tic" likke sound (like and artefact on a vinyl) repeating through every track. Don't know if it just me, had the same problem with my own custom sound a while back and I never could fix it.

Anyway you could make some races based off of ES2? I do love playing as the Vodyani and as the cultists in EL.
facciola007 27 May, 2017 @ 7:46am
Awesome Got that game also!
学伟 25 May, 2017 @ 8:41pm
very good
Jeffica 25 May, 2017 @ 7:56pm
Thanks for putting the time asideto do this. One thing though, is the audio too quiet compared to the vanilla tracks? I have to bump down the volume on everything else to hear the ES2 tracks.

Isnt this breaking copyright stuff?
Raz 23 May, 2017 @ 6:38pm
Excellent Firedron ! No problem, glad to help out. The music from ES2 is a work of art. It's a great addition to my Stellaris playlist. Thanks.
Firedron  [author] 23 May, 2017 @ 5:21pm
Thanks Raz, gonna fix it today!
Raz 23 May, 2017 @ 5:17pm
Hey there ! I managed to fix the mod and make it show up in my playlist by editing some stuff in the archive (steamapps/workshop/content. First of all change the "Music" folder to "music", it looks like it's case sensitve. Also in the music folder please edit the .asset and .txt files name to someting like ES2.asset and ES2.txt. The way they are currently named "songassets" might conflict with other music mods out there, it happened to me with Republic Commando OST. So mod author please fix this and all should be well.
Voka863 23 May, 2017 @ 1:35am

SerHak72 20 May, 2017 @ 9:16pm
