@Xemnomorph666, I haven't had that problem, It may have been that you just didn't stockpile any DNA points to speed through the transmission & symptom trees.

The problem I have is that once you make primates as zombie hosts, the disease gets noticed and cured quickly, while you're evolving a long path of symptoms before getting to the zombies

What is it exactly that this scenario does? You just say that it improves on the previous scenario, but don't go into any detail.

A few criticisms if I may:
1. The path to unlocking the reanimation symptom is not clear.
2. The pricing of the symptoms seems a little off to me. Maybe you were going for something difficult or I'm just bad at this game, but with the symptoms as expensive as they are, especially with a disease dependent on abilities, playing on normal feels like brutal. This isn't neccesarily a bad thing, but it is something of a slap in the face.
3. It is very quickly detected. Thusly, they almost always cure it and global research will probably be prioritized before zombies are even on the board. Played 3 times now, and even gunning straight for reanimation I was never able to get zombies on the board before the cure was at 70%. Maybe I'm just unlucky? This seems to defeat the purpose of several symptoms related to zombies.
4. There are several mentions to a virus in the abilities, which troubles my petty OCD brain.
