if you mean fences around park lot with "sidewalks": place fences however you want, then place "open gates" to sides of room you wanna hide.
Are you asking about adding the mod list on the sidebar? Go to your workshop submission and look on the right sidebar for the link "Add/Remove Required Items." From there, click on the "Subscribed Items" tab and select each mod that was used in the blueprint. Easy enough!
Changing the thumbnail is a bit more in depth. I have created a discussion for it HERE . Feel free to ask questions over there! Thanks for your contributions!
FIrst you need to create a blueprint. After you have designed a building, right click any of the floors and select "Select Entire Building." Now, while selected, in the build menu click the small button with a picture of an office building labeled "blueprints." Click "Save Selected Rooms" and give it a name.
To upload a blueprint to the workshop look at the very top left on the main menu above the "Continue" button. You will see a button for "Steam Workshop." Click that. Select a blueprint and click upload!
Now be sure to add a detailed description as well as some helpful screenshots. A lot of people skip this part and dont realize how important it is. A thumbnail of a cube building with no details and in-game images isn't helpful in showing what you've made. When you are finished, on the workshop page of your blueprint, click the "Change Visibility" link and change it from "Private" to "Public." Thant's it!

Alright, I have confirmed the issue. I have designed these blueprints on the latest testing branch of the game. Unfortunately it seems they aren't compatible with the current Alpha build that is installed by default. You can upgrade your game to the latest alpha by following these steps below. (Be advised, this makes changes to gameplay as well as adds new items. Your old saved games may be altered.)
1. Go to your Library
2. Right click Software INC
3. Select the "Betas" tab
4. In the drop down box select "testing - Alpha 9"
5. Close the window
Steam will auto-update your game to the testing - Alpha 9 version. My blueprints should now be compatible with your game.
I will have to put in a lot of work to rebuild them in the current default version of the game.
Error
When placing, the buildings only get partially built, with no furniture placed. Some other things are missing, like elevators, etc. Not sure what's going on.
I've tried with a number of saves and different scenarios, no difference. Definitely building on the ground floor. I've also tried other author's blueprints and they're working fine. :(
I'm not sure why that would happen. I just built it three times in sandbox mode to test with no issues. Have you tried to build it more than once? Have you tried building it in another save? Only reason I see it wouldnt build the towers is if you weren't building on ground level (Floor "0") as the towers reach the games height limit.
1. Make sure the current floor is "0". You can only build on the ground level.
2. Make sure you own all the land in the build area. You may have to purchase more land.
3. Make sure you have enough funds available.
4. Verify the "Letter Signs" mod is properly installed in your game by locating the letters in your build menu. They should be present.
5. Make sure the ground is clear and you are not building on any roads or other objects.
Click the big green subscribe button. Steam will automatically download the file and add it to your game. To build, enter build mode and click the small button that looks like an office tower labeled "blueprints". Select a building from the list and click build.
