Are you able to create such a station but with suspended tracks?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I usually build 10x10 blocks in my cities, so the regular station (9 tiles) doesn't fit, I tried to change it in the asset editor, but didn't know how, since there isn't even a road, but luckily I found this one!! :104::steamhappy:

Could you please make 12 tiles one?

thomasgraver, DLC stands for "downloadable content". To have monorails in your city you need to buy the "Mass Transit DLC" and install it, provided you already have Cities Skylines already installed on your computer device. Easiest way is to go to your Steam store page and look at the purchases Steam offers you for Cities Skylines - it'll automatically offer everything CS that you haven't yet bought. Click on any item (DLC) you want, e.g. Mass Transit, read the page that comes up, and buy if you wish. Buying it via Steam was the easiest way for me - just a few buttons to click, and it automatically formed part of my CS base game. If no sign of it, contact Steam Support. This reply is because I was once a newbie (or the more disparaging term - noob) and I had to research for myself until I found out what all the relevant terms meant - too often people assume you know terminology - we all have to start somewhere. Hope you're enjoying the game!

I found that the 10 tiles station is perfect for station with 2 lane road junctions like this +==+
If one of these junction is 4 lane road, it can't be matched. Here is the screenshots.

You need the Mass Transit DLC
thomasgraver 2 Aug, 2019 @ 1:09am
What is DLC???
It says that im missing DLC to use a mod, anyon knows about that?
garbuckle3000  [author] 15 Jul, 2019 @ 7:56pm
It's the same one under the normal station. Just a simple 4 lane avenue. I didn't change the road
Kreatifchk 15 Jul, 2019 @ 2:43pm
What road was used under the station?
garbuckle3000  [author] 11 Apr, 2019 @ 2:08pm
Not sure what there is to discuss. Plus I haven't played Cities Skylines in over a year, and don't know when/if I'll get back into it. If you think you're using someone's asset, it's nice to give credit, but there's nothing stopping you from making what you want. I can't give you any tips or anything, as I really don't remember what I did so long ago :)
Sp3ctre18 11 Apr, 2019 @ 5:29am
Thanks, good to know, but it's a little more complicated than that! Please add me so we can discuss briefly. Thanks.
garbuckle3000  [author] 7 Apr, 2019 @ 2:43pm
Thanks for checking with me. Yes, I have no issues you using my assets as long as credit is given :)
Sp3ctre18 7 Apr, 2019 @ 5:49am
Sent you a friend request because I'm editing a workshop asset that may be based on yours so I want to check with you about proper credits!

@garbuckle3000 .... well it's strange, for me no matter how small a change I make, it renders the station unusable.
garbuckle3000  [author] 3 May, 2018 @ 2:44pm
I wish I could help. I didn't actually create any new paths with these, I simply shortened the roads and tweaked the stats. I found that if I deleted the paths, I could not replace them and get them working.

@garbuckle3000 .... I've been trying to create my own versions of monorail stations in asset editor but whatever I create becomes broken in game. I get the error ''cannot find path'' when trying to create lines and the crossover tracks don't appear when joining tracks to the station. That happens when I remove the road and replace the tracks. Also, if I try to place any other type of road under the station, the pink pedestrian connection path sections that were elevated get knocked down to ground level. Wherever there are roads I find it is impossible to place elevated pink pedestrian connection paths. Since you seem to be able to create successful monorail station assets that work I was wondering if you can advise me on what I can do to address the above mentioned issues.

wanted to do the exact same thing, but thought, hey somebody surely did this already, so thanks ;)
Kreatifchk 31 Jul, 2017 @ 7:13am
Thank you very much!!!!
Amayasnep 20 Jul, 2017 @ 10:37pm
Works like a charm.

Anyone having issues with auto saves crashing?

Thanken ye!

I've added some lighting now. Not sure why the original lighting disappeared
garbuckle3000  [author] 23 May, 2017 @ 3:07pm
Sorry, I haven't got a clue about the lighting. I just used the asset editor, so don't know why the lighting would be missing. I made sure to load all the props with the building when creating the new version, so that it brought in the correct road. I then used the Move It mod to move the road nodes an extra tile. I had to be exact so the snapping works properly
dract17 22 May, 2017 @ 11:20pm
Oh I did notice one other thing. With the new stations on the road, they appear to be missing nightime lighting. I checked the new off road station and it has all of its lighting intact. I have not investigated the two hub options.
dract17 22 May, 2017 @ 10:18pm
Thank you again!!! These changes are perfect! Out of curiosity how did you fix the changing road lengths making the stations disfunctonal? I tried editing myself and ran into that problem.
Myke 22 May, 2017 @ 12:05pm
hopefully the devs change this, they said that they would add new and exciting methods of transport to the game, so far we have broken shhips that drive through docks, blimps that collide mid air, boxes that tilt so far that you might as well stand on the ceiling and monorails that make more noise than a railway even though they have less friction and quiter engines.

So far the only features I like are the new roads.
sffc 22 May, 2017 @ 2:52am
Thanks for making these! Monorail stations should be something that should raise land value nearby, not lower it. With the vanilla stations, land value plummeted and I was having people get hearing sickness from a block or more away from the. After I replaced them with these new "Quieter" stations, I got a bunch of level-ups on nearby residential, as it should be. :steamhappy:
SpaceJackalTim 21 May, 2017 @ 11:58pm
awesome!
garbuckle3000  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 6:44pm
@Timjfjdd: Done. No size changes to the hubs, but their noise has been reduced to 70. I have also grouped them all in a collection
SpaceJackalTim 21 May, 2017 @ 2:17pm
could you do the bus mono hub and train mono hub aswell please?
garbuckle3000  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 8:53am
Last revision done (I hope). It wasn't snapping to the roads, and the zoning was just slightly off, but I've fixed it now
garbuckle3000  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 8:21am
Now updated to 10 tiles long :) It was easier than I thought. I've also created a 10 tile version with no roads that you can find on the workshop
garbuckle3000  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 7:38am
@freshchris96 Yes, I will do that shortly. Wanted to do the road one first as it's in the heart of the city. @tct0812 I'm not sure I can change it, as the road appears to be a special road, and the station stops working when I try to build my own road underneath. I agree 10 would be a good number, though. Maybe I can use move it to extend it
Isaias94 21 May, 2017 @ 6:46am
Wonderful. Now waitin' for famous Chongqing-styled trans-building mono station.
xProphet24 20 May, 2017 @ 11:24pm
awesome! can you make one for the non road version.
dract17 20 May, 2017 @ 10:41pm
THANK YOU! I agree that the default monorails are way too noisy. Any chance you could also change the default road length underneath it to 10 instead of the awkward 9 that is in vanilla?
