first of all you need to extract subscribed mod and unpack it to custom useing corespondent folders structure. Then you need to put all files that Tom fixed and replace weapon models

AI don't shoot using this weapon, however as Tom pointed it is relatively easy to fix it.

I added missing idle_alt and fire2 anims from oryginal mp5 v_model and unfortunetly it does not do the trick. I try to make working right Insurgency M4. Its gone from workshop but I like it the most. It seems that there must be problem with something else in this model :(

don't remember, just decompile the mp5 w_ model and edit the qc, it'll have the required ones

ah figured, the reason they don't shoot, is the w_mp5 one is missing sequences, so I just copied the default anims to it and edited the qc file to include them. I think I might have accidentally included the mp5 collision to it by accident which could be why its "floating"

@Tom. What is the deal with AI not shooting. I have other no workshop M4 I could fix. By floating gun Kunze mean it is rotate 90 degrees problem during compile back. Here is the screenshot:

floats off the ground? mind showing that, since that could be an issue I caused by accident. Also too lazy to fix the way it's held since thats what the model creator originally did to fix it clipping into their hands, but when CC fixed the issue on the hecu models, that broke the "fix" applied by the mod.

Fix works but they hold the gun wrong and it floats off the ground whenever i kill an hecu
Wish i could get it working cause this plus the HECUV3 mod with illopns m9 and classic shotgun make it feel closer to og hl

its still funny how this breaks the grunt AI so the only ones that can shoot at you are RPG and shotgunners

but yeah this wont work with BMS 1.5 and later, the mod is from before Xen beta testing even began ffs
I'm kind of a dumbass so I don't understand how to install it via VPK.

Just to make ya'll aware this mod is old. Its from 2017 and is not intended to work with Black Mesa 1.5 so suck it up

I thought this would only be a model replacement, but turns out it alters the MP5's behavior... reloading takes longer and it deals WAY too much damage. HECU troopers drop in less than 10 well placed shots. Bummer.
