Canada also uses the double yellow line in the median. It's a way to indicate that it is forbidden to attempt to pass a vehicle in front of you by using the line going in the opposite direction. Dashed lanes are used to indicate that you can attempt the maneuver (at your own risks). On roads wider than 2 lanes, you will pretty much always see the solid double yellow lines.

Soo anybody found a stable alternative to props unlimited?

yeah, it's true. I tend to use one of the longer lines for the straight sections and just use these for the curves. Originally I was planning to use them to make some custom intersections for the workshop using Prop Unlimiter but the extra props kept disappearing when I re-opened the asset form save.

Don't know, i don't use this mod-
Saw your cool idea to paint round lines but its hard to use this with the default game limits.
Two detailed junctions and u have placed 20k props. You know what i'm mean.

ah, I see. I have been trying the PropUnlimiter but have been having some issues with it and hence didn't recommend it (yet).
Do you use it? Does it function ok for you?

Sry i mean the Prop Unlimiter[ALPHA] Mod, because your small lines use alot more prop limit.
Anyway cool idea but the game limites hates those ideas(64k pops but 262tress).
Thanks for creating and Keep it up^^ .

hellow DEX! love your vids...
not sure I understand what you mean... how would you use Prop it Up! with these lines? To replace embedded lines in buildings etc?
creativeDEX 25 May, 2017 @ 7:20am
You should set Prop it up! as recommended. This small stuff don't care about the limits of the game.

thanks for pointing that out @Ponyway, I could make them with a wider gap in between but then they would overhang into the road quite a lot...

America uses double yellow lines, and I have been looking for the perfect double yellow line marking for a long time. I mean, your pic shows something promising, but I'll have to find out. :)

not sure, it's a clear double line @ 1920 x 1080 on my system...

The double line looks like one big thick line. Why it can depend? Graphics settings or something else?

and the new functionality in Traffic Manaager makes it a lot easier to designate areas as no parking. Perfect!
