Just a quick heads up, I was getting bugged by some issues the ported mod kept having on my end, and I wonder if the use of the ó character might be part of the issue. Reproccer patching and a bunch of other stuff like the BAE really don't like it. After unpacking things I had to manually rename a bunch of folders and files because the ó was replaced by a _ in filenames. By all rights it should work on my end right now, but every so often it still gives issues.

For the register; I got this to work with the special edition using this guide ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17990 ). Great Mod. now I just need Brian Blessed ...

i'd like to play with him bu hat's a lot of bugs. like i posted earlier, have you tried asking for help? there are a lot of great modders who will help and you can make him the great dwarro he is.

i started using "Amazing Follower Tweaks" and gimli is now alot more talkative after i used the AFT mod to make him an AFT follower. OMG i love my Gimli follower so much, i downloaded "Noldor Content Pack" to make Faendal a true elf warrior straight out of LOTR and combined with AFT mod, my total game experience has changed :). Faendal now levels with me, and i can customize both him and Gimli's stats as well !

when i found him in the Inn, he only wanted to train heavy armor. i quick saved and loaded it, and he then had many more options, including follow. the only custom voice i have found, are his responses to heavy armor training.

oh ok but i think this can probably work alongside mods from nexus

I have put it on Nexus, but the staff deleted the mod shortly after I published it. I asked them why, and they said it's because of Gimli's voice of the Lotr..
I don't know why that's a problem since I'm not making any money of it :/

If you had that bug with all or most NPC's it could have been the Dialogue Bug
But if only Gimli has that problem, it might be because you have quite a lot of other mods. I made a SEQ file for him, which should make sure that the Dialogue Bug shouldn't be a problem :/

The character works normally but everytime i speak to him he doesnt have voice; if you use the subtitles they appear but he just doesnt speak

Since when does he not have the follow option? Did he already not have the option the first time you talked with him?
I also had that problem once when I tested him, it worked some time again, but I don't really have a solution to it, sadly :'(

He wont follow me he is jest used for heavy armor training why is that.

I would recommend you to restart the game (it really helps!) and if possible load from a save game where you haven't encountered him before. Otherwise just dismiss him, and wait till he is in the Sleeping Giant's Inn.
Ask him to follow you and wait till he, for example, stands up from his bench or whatever he is doing and follows you.
Gimli always is the average human size when he is doing something (sleeping, sitting, mixing potions etc.)
When he stops doing one of these things he shrinks to his normal Dwarf size.
