Second, I made a respawn ship mod with his drop pod and your ship. Is there any problem?

So, I added grav blocks to the bottom, and mounted them sideways on the underside of an IMDC Destroyer. 12G worth of grav drives, tug this thing out feet first at about 90m/s and it still works perfectly even in motion. Still trying to find a good script that can get me onto or around a GPS target. Otherwise, I use a script that places a GPS at atmo edge for a straight down drop onto a known surface GPS. zero velocity, I jump to the point, deploy the pods, and then jump away. Works really well!

A chance of failure can easily be made by weapons fire, damaged thrusters, or loss of power.

the pod just keeps exploding, nothing is working properly, even the supply pods explode, making them usless, can you make a remake of the hunchback or pods

Set a timer to start the looping timer for this script and detach merge/override thrusters. This script will activate once within the gravity well.

Can you elaborate on how to automate? I thought timer blocks just execute commands after a delay. Sorry, I haven't played in a very long time.

If there is no gravity, it will not release. You could automate this with a timer block though :)

I'm not sure if it's normal for the script to not activate while in space and for the thrusters and gyroscope to be disabled, but I wanted to make this some kind of stasis pod that'll keep drifting through space until it finds a planet and then the script will activate itself. Is that possible? I like to go afk on servers to go to a planet instead of building a warp drive XD

You'll need to configure the maximum speed in the code for modded speeds :)

Does this pod work well with speed mods or will it smash into the planet if it reaches excessively high speeds (in excess of 500 m/s in many cases. Renders most vanilla dropships useless in landing.)

Oh! No small grid merges cant connect to large grid ones. You'd need to use a rotor trick to get a small rotor head and small merge attached onto a large rotor base :)

No, for some reason no blocks can be attached to rotors or pistons in my game anyways. The merge blocks are in the roof of the hangar.

Is the main ship's merge block on a rotor? If so make sure the rotor is unlocked before trying to paste.
