Updated the mod so it say its compatible in the mod selection screen. Will be updating the others this weekend.

This border mod is so much nicer, It beats the vanilla version that spreads across half the galazy with just a few systems, now you got to actually work for the systems inside ur territory and the blobbing and suffocating borders have not been a problem at all, even in the late game!:steamhappy:

Did a quick test. Everything looks fine except that the materialist FE's borders are base on normal Empires and not the proper FE. will see about getting that fixed. Other than that. its working fine

@tmon, Sorry, you can delete this comment when you answer, I tried adding u but guess not, lol. I wanted to know, if I get the stargate mod, why do I need new ship classes & whats the downscalled ship class mod mean, how is it different from the normal one u have? let me know if u can, thanks

The mod does keep the borders small . Only the Fallen Empire keep to more of a vanilla border size just for balance. The regular and pc empires borders are much smaller and dont grow as they did in the vanilla game- to balance this the frontier outposts are cheaper and more durable. In the improved border system mod- you can also have a war demand for putposts.. the ai will demand them as well.

I don't fully understand, does this mod shrink the border cloud? Its so annying when I have only a few systems build up yet my territory expands across 1 4th of the galaxy, if this dont fix that, is there a mod that does? thanks:steamhappy:

Changes:


BORDER_EXTRUDER_NSC utility_component_1 range = 1
BORDER_EXTRUDER_NSC utility_component_2 range = 4 ( org 2 )
BORDER_EXTRUDER_NSC utility_component_3 range = 8 (org 3 )
BORDER_EXTRUDER_NSC utility_component_4 range = 13 (org 4 )

New --- BORDER_EXTRUDER_ED utility_component = 40 (org 50)
This has been attached to the Fallen Empire's fortress space station
Now the Fallen Empire will have simular borders as in the past.

Couldn't find FE Frontier Outposts in the game files

This change will also mean the Extradimensional Anchors will also have this value =40, which could be helpful for the player in fighting back.

@p6kocka - Yes this patch will work for the LITE version of NSC 5. You will need the patch. Enjoy =)

@p6kocka - it should. I can check in a few hours when im back at my computer. From looking at the mod in the link , im almost 100 percent sure. Its only two files.

Update -

Changes:

Frontier Outpost :

- HP value changed from 9000 to 5000
- Armor changed from 300 to 100

- BORDER_EXTRUDER_NSC utility_component level 2 , 3, and 4 had their ai weights changed to 100. This should get the ai to start upgrading them.
