I found it easy and fun. Took me about 5-10 mins to solve once I memorised the layout.

Amazing puzzle. Thank you for making it.

Great moveset, I really enjoyed the logic in this one :D

Nice puzzle! Very clever chain of reasoning that ends with the bridge & funnel-button combo being a necessary condition

Very cool and unique puzzle, I was utterly confused for a solid minute, then out of just trying the first thing in my head did I find the key I was missing, and smile. Loved it.

Excellent logic test.

Played this back in June 2017, said it was brilliant and added to favourites, which I'm now going through from first to latest. It's not just 'brilliant', it's an "Incredible map".

Really good map! Good use of respawning and swapping Thanks. Fav

Incredible map, found it more medium than hard but maybe I just got lucky.

Very nice puzzle! Great reuse of elements and repeated cube swapping . Thumbs up and added to favorites.

Clever ;-)
Thumbs up

great map was very fun!

Let me re-comment since I was thinking about the wrong map. Well made map, took me a while to work it out, but thought it was very clever in the end

Very good map, well done, the last part is great.
bullfrog 11 Jun, 2017 @ 2:31am
Brilliant puzzle. Every single step, especially the last two, needs to be thought through carefully, but really feels good when you crack it :) Thumbs up and 'favourited'. PS the cubes where trippy XD
Fumbly Bumbly 10 Jun, 2017 @ 4:08am
Very clever! Thumbs up and added to my favourites!

Nice job with the remake! Not sure if you were going for "LB" and "Nock" cubes but it sure as hell looked like it! My only complaint is the hole area is quite :well_made_and_lit:, some lights there would be nice. Anyway, thumbs up and fav'd! :p2cube: :LIS_star:

I already commented about the glowy cubes, they are fixed in the newest version of beemod but that also breaks other stuff including funnel polarity connections so I haven't updated.

I think you're right about the door buttons (they were there in the original, where I think they actually are needed). I'll leave em though

Are the exit buttons necessary? Because I don't think you can get to the exit area without the cubes being in the two funnels area, so why bother making the player jsut drag them along with them? The puzzle is difficult enough and after the SO satisfying moment of figuring out how to get to the exit there's no need to just go back and do one more easy step, right?

And what the hell is happening to those cubes? Isn't the color-changer-thing supposed to change the color of the blue circles on the cube and not the whole cube?

I have to say it again though: It's a very satisfying puzzle! So thumbs up!

I watched the video by DeathWish808 and saw what the cubes are really supposed to look like. Cool! You could make three differently-colored cubes and use them in a three-way cube swapper. Imagine the possibilities!

My titles often don't really have much to do with the puzzle tbh, the only reason this is called "Unstack" is because it is a remake of "Stack" with the rooms laid out next to each other instead of on top of each other, so I "unstacked" the original
Miami Mike 4 Jun, 2017 @ 5:06pm
Hold on, I have a question... I worked this again and couldn't see any aspect of my solution that relates to the title. I didn't stack or unstack cubes or anything else. Is that title just a red herring or did I find an unintended solution?
Miami Mike 3 Jun, 2017 @ 4:39pm
Brilliant, loads of fun, and above all, colorful!
quat  [author] 29 May, 2017 @ 7:27pm
Hmm, I could use a companion cube, but I don't like to use respawning companion cubes as part of a puzzle. They're supposed to be your companion :D

I made this because I was unhappy with the crazy antitrapping gunk in Stack - not counting the stupid faith plate rollercoaster, it just felt weird to require you to totally reset your progress any time you made a tiny mistake. The stacked rooms also made the antitrap come out to be a really weird shape. The portal surface on the lower floor was only used once, as well, so by letting people freely waddle through the fizzler I can cut that out too. This is also a bit smaller.

Thx for your feedback, interesting to hear what you liked about the original's layout, because I didn't like it at all :P
MalbaCato 29 May, 2017 @ 12:59pm
Well, isn't that the purpose of the companion cube?
Anyway, it was much simpler, because going throught the fizzler, which is like using the restart buttons and plates in stack, right? didn't reset the cube.

Actually, I liked stack much more, because of the more strict sectioning, which then you were chalenged to think how to 'brake', and the unusual layout.

Anyway, now I'm back to normal not colored cubes world!
quat  [author] 29 May, 2017 @ 12:31pm
Lol, the super-glowy cubes are fixed in the newest version of BEEMOD, but I haven't updated to it yet because it breaks some other stuff.

If it makes you feel better the cubes *are* supposed to be different colors (check out deathwish's video), but... well, not like that. It's to help you tell them apart without relying on something silly like a laser cube
MalbaCato 29 May, 2017 @ 12:10pm
I think your map broke something, so now I am in radioactive cubes world, oh well, got to restart.

Also, If anybody knows, how do I link one, or a group of screenshots, and not all of them?
Jade BGE 29 May, 2017 @ 11:14am
That was awesome! And hard! I had to sleep on it... surprise surprise. There was one thing I had not tried, and that was it. A favorite. Thank you
DeathWish808 29 May, 2017 @ 7:47am
You have to be thinking ahead the whole way through this one. Very clever. I only had to F7 once, so I think that's pretty good.
I'm not sure if a couple things were intended, but it worked. :-D
And of course it's well made and lit.
