Thanks for this mod that i often use in my builds. just a small note: on my computer, the windows, when in the shadows, are just black and do not show the beautiful colours of the glass.

Update - Reduced facecount by 214, removed 128 double verticy, redid textures and lods. Should drastically improve overall models.

Some reason i have them set up in smelting. I guess the melting glass principle but it does not make much sense. I will have to change that.

Hi. its 2 pillars and 2 half arches stacked on the 2 pillars makes the frame.

IM PROB MISSING SOMETHING OBVIOUS BUT I CANT SEEM TO PLACE THE WINDOWS. I CAN MAKE THEM BUT CANNOT FIND A FRAME TO WRAP THEM IN. SUGGESTIONS? SO SORRY FOR YELLING LOL

Hi if you are in the shadows it will do that im sorry. the only past this that i know is to do like stori and make them glow in the dark. I am not fond of this glow in the dark look. I recommend placing them towards the sunrise and at nigh have a light by them to cast the color of the glass.

Update. Fixed a few issues. Should have a better look more balanced window look. Should be able to see at night and not have a real bad glow to them. Still cant fix the daytime shadow sorry.

Hi. I seen that the glass was disappearing after first lod phase. I thought this was my error, but for some reason no matter how i add lods the glass disappears on first lod phase. I had to reomove lods so glass would stay. I reduced to 600 face count from 1300 to make up for this. Thanks, sorry for constant updates.

Hi use the woodenmallet and right click hit window if you have this problem. some objects are becoming hard to destroy. I dont know why.

I definitely think that looks better, but the current one is more realistic i think - the tracery and mullions would have looked more like a solid uniform color than that they were cut from a single block of stone.

I think it works well as is, but it's your mod, and it'll be awesome with either texture

@editor90 They'll get there. The same process happened with Space Engineers - they worked on the core gameplay mechanics, then fleshed everything out and added in features and such based on community input and some really good mods - I remember when we had to push Keen to implement solar panels lol, then oxygen, etc

ME will get there, especially if peeps like Wolfgar and Stori3d keep making these awesome mods and we keep bringing up stuff we want in vanilla - like the arrow loops and windows and pointed arches and the like...we might be a bit disappointed in their initial implementations, there is still plently of time in the dev cycle for them to get such things up to par

Survival gameplay gets new players interested, the engineering aspects will come, just give them time...I'm super excited for mechanical blocks personally :steamhappy:

There are so many blocks I miss in this game to build a great castle without mismatches. I love these marvelous windows. This block shold have been created by KEEN. It is a bit intriguing to see, that the comunity is creating blocks, to make the game more comfortable. You did a great job and it is a pity in my opinion that KEEN is focusing on the survival game play and not the engineering game play.
