Will fishing work on this map?

It's a shame that the mod is not compatible with rental game servers because in the solo game this mod is great but it's a shame not to be able to play it with others. I hope one day this mod will be up to date

near the green obelisk (red on the new one), in the south west, there are a LOT of thylacoleos spawning, currently i have about 50 in a small area. is this a bug?

@Mephilis78 Maybe 1 out of 1722 survivors opened a server, but I think there no servers with it. Few years ago I saw 2 servers but thats it.

Anyone know of any servers that have this map?

Is the volcano the same as it was before the patch to change it into the lava-filled one?

@suricatogamepley Because it's from that map. They took the blueprints from survival of the fittest map that comes with the big platform in the middle. Not a big deal..Good place to build a base though!

why in old the island have a fittest arena?

@Tribemember123 first of all thank you for this mod. It really hit me up and my friends with so many memories from when the game first came out. I started a cluster with this mod, I did some adjustments so there were only classic dinos on the map, is not perfect but I'm trying my best with what I have, one of the things I notice was the respawn of some Achatina, Pachyrhinosaurus, Therizinosaurus here and there despite disabled in the .ini file, so I think it have to be something with the mod itself. I want a "vanilla" server experience so I also would like to take out the extra oil nodes at the north part of the map and the pearls at the rivers. for test purposed I summoned Broodmother and after and the teleport animation finished we were sent to a free fall under the map.

I know it has been so long since your last update, if you don't have the time anymore I would like to help with the mod and do this changes myself.

Thank you very much as I missed this original Island map and did not really like the changes made by wild card.

So awesome that you made this. Brings back serious memories! My wife and I will enjoy rebuilding our old waterfall side base from back in the day.

Currently it does not work for servers, a black image comes out and throws you out of the server, they could look at that problem please.

@Tribemember 123 You can disable the spawns by yourself..It doesn't need to be a mod.

I like the idea of it but could you mabe make a Map, where only the old creatures spawn
like: no theris and swamp dinos, no snow dinos onyl the old dinos we had back in 2015
I really miss the feeling of the old ark game when we didn't have any mega bases and everyone was a bob...

@.bluebean If you have an issue where the map name is ShooterEntry and you cannot enter your server, there is a fix. Tryto find your mod folder inside your server files. Ways you can find it is by looking after the mod id in the server files. Then you should be able to find a file named TheOGIsle.uasset, change the name of this file to TheOGIsle.umap

so i have the problem where the mapname is ShooterEntry on my Nitrado server, i have changed to TheOGIsle.umap in my mods folder. i try to find the server files for the mod and it just says "TheOGIsle3?"?

@N4de Oh. OK . I've never had that happen.. I thought you met Loading the map.. : )

@N4de ive seen this issue before but pretty sure its just a one time thing. If youre on singleplayer just type in the console: cheat slomo 100 and wait for the timer to finish then type cheat slomo 1. Ive seen this issue on vanilla island and think it has something to do with your previously saved character.

@0live when I launched, I had the spawn screen and it said : Spawn In 30 minutes
The map still worked and wasn't a problem on my computer.

@N4de I have the same long Loading wait with any of the Ark maps I use. I think it is may be a combination of the poor Ark Loader they use here, and my own computer Ram.8.00 GB
