So, my friends and I are working on a fork of FU, and I was wondering about two things: One, who do we talk to for permissions, and two, are we allowed?

There is not point in installing this its already built into FU

the mod is included in FU now. If you install both, OF COURSE your game is going to crash from dupe items. Did you just not check the race menu before you installed the mod?

He has a tendency to assimilate mods into FU and take them over as a result.

To anyone with the skathwallbeams crash even without Skath race installed - if you have FU and Luxury Blocks, Luxury Blocks causes the error. You gotta uninstall it if you want the game to work again.

Hey there- struggling with the same error. I do *not* have the skath mod installed and upon searching the workshop for the term "skath" I have none of those installed either.
I've showed this error to a friend and neither of us understand where it could be coming from.

I guess you have an id conflict problem. I guess it's one of the mod which add Pokemon figurines...

does this mod contain any epp? looking for 1 i lost during a cleaning

We might need to check what other mods may be using the Skath assets, as it's not the first time mods have incorporated assets from others, especially when it comes to FU.

I know i was kinda an ass before, But i could try and help with the design aspect.

A few very popular race mods (Peglaci and Avali come to mind) have been picked up and revived by other modders after their original authors abandoned them. Considering how well-liked this mod is, I'm sure you'll have no trouble at all finding someone who is willing to help you work on it.

By the way, I couldn't help but notice quite a few grammatical errors and awkward sentences in some of the Skath codices. I can help you fix those if you let me.

Yeah i have given this a thought but i aint gonna make any excuses and just straight up say, that I was too lazy to ask and when i wanted to, i forgot about it :'D

That is unfortunate, but perfectly understandable. At the end of the day, you're providing us with free content when you're under no obligation to do so. I really appreciate it. Though it may take a while for the Skath race to be truly complete, I'm thoroughly enjoying what this mod has to offer so far - especially the building blocks, which I think are really well-made.

Not sure how feasible this would be, but have you thought of recruiting other modders/spriters from the community forums to help out with this mod? I feel bad that you have to do everything on your own.

I sadly have to say that the Mod is being discontinued for now. We all have basically parted ways and it is very hard work for me alone to work on the mod. A lot of us left due to the desinterest in Starbound, others left because they didn't feel like doing something.

Yet the mod is nowhere near dead and if the next update comes out, I will make sure to keep the mod updated so it wont break. But for now I have to learn how to sprite stuff properly, before I can come back and finish armors and stuff like that.

( Also, underwater towns, those are hard to design, even with proper references @_@)

It's a shame to hear that your sprite artist has left the project. This mod has some of the best sprite work that I have ever seen. Here's hoping that your next spriter does a good job - he has some pretty big shoes to fill!

first off I want to say that I love this mod and find the lore behind the skath extremely intrigueing. second thing out of curiosity how is the update for the underwater cities going?

In the crafting menu where you make an inventors table, there is the Skath forge and workbench. Thats the prime basis for all the wonderful content in this mod

Those cannons are skath turrets and you can craft them at the skath furniture table

And where can you craft them?

Hey just want to say this is a great mod (a couple bugs here and there, but thats as is with any mod) im excited about future updates. only thing im looking for is a tutorial/showcase on youtube (i cant find everything this mod has to offer) but ive searched and there is not one video on it :(

alright. i have trouble accessing it and when i can no errors except a mod i forgot the name of making an exception, it doesnt affect my game, since that is fixed. i cant post it for some reason but nothing seems to be wrong. I will attempt a fix that i just found.
