I can't download this through steam for the life of me. It just refuses to materialise anywhere after it says it has finished. Can anybody upload the folder to free filesharing site for me plz?

Is this compatible with BNW?

Since the wonder is such a faith juggernaut, the free cathedral seems a bit superfluous even if it is thematic: and it also makes it less desireable with the cathedrals belief.

I like the mod, but I think it would be a bit better without the free cathedral.

Thanks for you effort. I unsubscribed because it wasn't working, but now i'm subscribing again. :)

New version with working effect released 6 April 2013

Excellent idea that of a base yeld for faith, for each policy opened. I would suggest +2 faith, as a base yeald, and then +1 for each policy opened. +1 Culture base. Then, upon entering the Modern Era (or Atomic Era) it should get +1 culture and +1 gold (for tourism). I usually don't think they should get more than 2 bouses, but this is alight excpetion due to its importance worlwide. Perhaps the same shoud apply to Mecca and Jerusalem (or Walls of Jerusalem or something) if you ever thik on developing such wonders. :) Thanks for your work!
Are you paid for this work?
Pouakai  [author] 21 Mar, 2013 @ 10:29am
Thanks for commenting on this one - I'd forgotten that it needs to be fixed. The effect actually doesn't work, and needs to be updated as faith doesn't work with the policy % yield modifiers for some reason, so it needs to be changed. I'm thinking maybe a base faith yield for each Piety policy?
MindRunner 21 Mar, 2013 @ 6:22am
I've just commented on another wonder of yours asking for a not so overpowered and thanking you for the connection of wonder to policies. This seems almost perfect, because i was just saying to myself that religious buildings and wonders shoulf ahve bonuses related to the Piety Policy Track alone. And you already thought about that! :) Greeat!
Perhaps 10% is a bit too much, i think 5% would be more reasonable, and i also agree that banking would make more sense and more balanced, although i see your point with acoustics (to go along with the sistine chapel and opera house).
Thanks!

It should require banking, rather than acoustics : )

Great idea. Would you mind telling those of us who are inclined how to change the quote ourselves to something else?
kerrigan1603 11 Sep, 2012 @ 12:56pm
its such a shame there isn't a in-game 3d mode of this
it would look fucking sick!
Lone pioneer 8 Sep, 2012 @ 11:24pm
P.S. Isn't it interesting how appropriate this games emphasis on religion and belief systems is to human nature itself. We can't make a mod for an strategy game without clashing belief systems .
Lone pioneer 8 Sep, 2012 @ 11:20pm
Disrespectful no. The best possible quote; also a no. The atheist angle would explain the gap in understanding his point of view. Incidently I appreciate your honesty and your mod.
Pouakai  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:01pm
I still don't see how that makes it disrepectful. And that may be because I'm Atheist, but I still feel the quote is relevent and perfectly fine
Lone pioneer 8 Sep, 2012 @ 6:58pm
The Quote is a bit nonbiblical. Jesus' words to Peter may be a little more appropriate though I must say it is a great concept you've put together.
Pouakai  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 1:39am
The quote is the one which came with the Into the Rennaisance version, how exactly is it disrespectful?
Join me Link! 7 Sep, 2012 @ 5:12pm
Would there be a way to change the monument quote from the current disrespectful one to the much more appropriate "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it."? I mean, it's the inscription written in the church itself.
Pouakai  [author] 3 Sep, 2012 @ 10:03pm
Turns out I didn't - the effect doesn't work, so you'll only be getting 8 faith and the free cathedral at this stage
isnorden 3 Sep, 2012 @ 1:09pm
Perfect match for the Papal States mod; NOW it feels right to play as Pius IX!
JFD 3 Sep, 2012 @ 5:48am
Excellent wonder, but how have you managed to get Faith to work as a modifier?
