... then you refuse the request because it is not needed, because it's in vanilla, and he has no idea what he's talking about.
Drewcat  [author] 25 Aug, 2020 @ 1:40pm
Yep, Butcher spot is in vanilla Rimworld, @Grave_Robber just asked about updating this mod, so I did.
Kordath Invictus 25 Aug, 2020 @ 12:08am
wasnt this implemented into the game pre 1.0 or did they remove it for 1.2?
Uuugggg 24 Aug, 2020 @ 8:21pm
Wut?

What happened to "Now a vanilla feature in B19!"
Drewcat  [author] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 5:13pm
Updated for 1.2! The devs made updating old mods so much easier.
In the past, you had to update your mod every time Rimworld got an update, but now one mod can support multiple versions of the game.

(For reference, add this code to About.xml)

<packageId>Mod.NameHere</packageId>
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.0</li>
<li>1.1</li>
<li>1.2</li>

Good job gamer
Kraken 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:36pm
Congratulations. The game dev implemented your mod into vanilla!
Uuugggg 30 Aug, 2018 @ 9:24am
(This is in B19 vanilla now)
Draco_LionHeart 11 Aug, 2018 @ 8:28pm
Greetings, is this compatible or have issues with verson 1.0?
Drewcat  [author] 3 Aug, 2018 @ 6:30am
@NannyOgg Yup!
NannyOgg 3 Aug, 2018 @ 2:15am
Is this save game compatible?

@luis.mendez6 I believe the campfire already has this function in the vanilla game. It's wood fueled, cooks simplemeals and pemmican (when researched), and can burn away unwanted apparel/drugs. It lasts 2 days and is constructed/refueled with wood, you can deconstruct it to stop it burning and reclaim the wood that has not yet been burnt. Hope this helps you a bit :).

can you make us a camping spot that would act like a stove. it could be placed for free but require wood like fueled stove?
Fuglypump 11 Jan, 2018 @ 12:56pm
Just noticed, the workgiver label has a typo in it, "bucthering"

@Techmango Thanks so much! ^w^
Just pushed an update with the changes.
PicardOrion 5 Dec, 2017 @ 2:29pm
Thx a lot. I had to rename and remove a few things but after that its working. Now my caracans can hunt, butcher and cook on a campfire :steamhappy:
The file names "... (1)" are a little messed up and there is folder in the mod folder that does not belong there (mod folder in mod folder).

Exactly what I would like to have in vanilla game... although i would personally like it even less effective in terms of meat received (let's say receiving like 75% of meat otherwise received via butchering table) and also would allow it only for colonists equipped with shiv/knife/sword
PicardOrion 5 Dec, 2017 @ 12:11pm
can you add a download link for the A17 Version?
Drewcat  [author] 1 Dec, 2017 @ 4:15pm
The mod seems to work just fine, despite the message that pops up. You can turn Auto-open off in the Debug menu if you wish.

Those commenting on the error, just look above to the pinned discussion.

I am getting an error in .18

Does not seem to be updated properly. I am not using any other mods.

Love this mod!!
a siege of herons 24 Nov, 2017 @ 12:51pm
can we have a mod option for a penalty for using it, i dont believe it should yield the same resources if it is a reflection of nandonalt
KIKU 20 Nov, 2017 @ 4:03pm
Thanks for the upgrade to B18.
I think the root element does not meet the rules of B18.
"Recipes_meals.xml" and "Workgivers.xml" want to try to check.
Apohavnosis 18 Nov, 2017 @ 11:24pm
Love this, thank you.
Drewcat  [author] 18 Nov, 2017 @ 1:46pm
@The Rabid Otter Yes definately! :3
Should just be one line to change, I doubt this conflicts with the new update.
The Rabid Otter 18 Nov, 2017 @ 10:57am
Will you update this for A18/B18? I don't know why this isn't in the vanilla game, but whatever. Your mod is sorely missed in A18/B18!
kat 25 Jul, 2017 @ 12:01pm
Oh wait, I have the tribal essentials, which basically adds this. I'll use that instead, but thanks for making this.
kat 25 Jul, 2017 @ 11:51am
It simply doesn't show that I have the butchering spot. AND this is the first mod in my lis- actually, maybe the bone mod should come first. I'll test that.
Drewcat  [author] 24 Jul, 2017 @ 7:30pm
@The bone mod seems to work just fine on my end, https://puu.sh/wSj2C/678343228a.jpg
What exaclty isn't working?
kat 24 Jul, 2017 @ 7:14pm
Yes, that. I don't have any other mods that change butchering.
Drewcat  [author] 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:37pm
@Erchius Do you mean this mod? I'll go in and see if I can work around any of the conflicts. What other mods do you have enabled?
kat 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:04pm
This didn't work for me. Maybe it was the bone mod, but I need that.
ambi 26 Jun, 2017 @ 4:44am
Great mod.
Leonidas 22 Jun, 2017 @ 3:16pm
Actully, I think it's a conflict with Vegatable garden. It adds changes to the spot for making compost and stuff. I'll see if patching it might help.
Drewcat  [author] 21 Jun, 2017 @ 1:06pm
@Cminnow Sorry about that! the error doesn't show up on my end. When does it occour for you?
Leonidas 21 Jun, 2017 @ 12:51pm
Thanks! This is the part from Nandonalt's that was needed the most. I do get a duplicate error but I assume that's harmless. Maybe it would be possible to use the new patching system to simple add on the new behavior?
