any chance this works for 1.6?
Rihlsul  [author] 21 Jun, 2024 @ 1:52pm
And now v2.2.0

- Fixed broken texture (the only can face right was funny, but nah)
- Fluffies are a little less hungry, but live longer, and are more likely to be chill
- Reworked the meat produced, along with the value (up)
- Added new Trader support options, making them more trader friendly, added new fluffy traders
- Added support for ADogSaid and ADogSaid2 (Thanks Tigerblut of the Flommels) so we can enjoy CyberFluffies, because bionic flooofs should be nutters

1.5 Update. Fluffies are apparently no longer Ambiturners. I can only assume due to certain ... Anomalies, they are now terrified to face west. This is hilarious and I will keep it unless it really upsets someone.
Rihlsul  [author] 19 May, 2024 @ 11:23pm
@Kizzycocoa - also yep :) Can't tell you how much I enjoy watching my lil army of people running about with pink fluffly cowboy hats.
Kizzycocoa 13 Apr, 2024 @ 5:08am
Will you be updating this for 1.5?
Rihlsul  [author] 8 Jun, 2020 @ 10:11am
Massive tweaking needed for pack animal life to not break textures. So, enjoy the MASSIVE MAKEOVER. They now have their own wool, of which there's much more of; less meat because there's not room under the fluff; they're quite quick, but have an eerie tendency to sleep with their eyes open.
Rihlsul  [author] 31 May, 2020 @ 8:46am
I couldn't easily fix up the meat stack size, but I realized I had one other fun option I'd never enabled. They're now Caravan Pack Animals! Enjoy.
Rihlsul  [author] 27 May, 2020 @ 11:27am
I'm going to see this weekend if I can change the meat stack size from these guys. I don't know about you all, but I was already drowning in Hare Meat if I ranch these guys -- and tonight's update increases the meat yield 50% if they're tame/slaughtered.
Rihlsul  [author] 18 Apr, 2020 @ 7:16am
And hopefully now 1.1 online. Not 100% sure it's setup correctly, so an update may drop.
strawberrycat2007 18 Mar, 2019 @ 5:54pm
This is so cute omigosh
J.S. Lange 23 Oct, 2018 @ 11:57pm
Hi! Mine can't be butchered and don't provide any meat when they die. Is that on my end?
Rihlsul  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 2:37pm
👍 Been a while since I've played (no foul, just letting it stabilize to 1.0), but it was an overdue update.

AlbinoFluffies now uploaded. Both can be installed, upping the odds of big smart bunnies roaming.
The Rabid Otter 21 Oct, 2018 @ 1:41pm
@Rihlsul: thanks for thinking about it :)

Also, thank you for the update. My kid loves it when she looks over my shoulder and sees a very large pink fluffy rabbit wandering around my colony.
Rihlsul  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 1:11pm
No major change, just updated to be 1.0 compliant.

While I was at it, I tested out borrowing the garment system's color randomizer -- no dice. Sorry to say, that would be fun. Maybe some point a .NET addon savvy author could make it happen.

Shortly about to upload a version that is Albino so you can have giant white rabbits that are the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on guarding your teams.

Would it be possible to have a RNG for their color? Perhaps most of the time the bunnies would be some shade of pink, but occassionally they would be a non-pink shade. Likewise, there would be a genetic component in which the offspring would usually inherent some combination of their parents' color, but again they could be mutants with a non-pink color. Non-pink bunnies would then be more likely to produce non-pink bunnies, especially if both parents are non-pink.

This would allow us to breed bunnies of different colors. Maybe the bunnies with rare colors would be worth more money?
BlueTressym 2 Dec, 2017 @ 7:53am
@miss.kayleona I second that!
Rihlsul  [author] 2 Dec, 2017 @ 1:44am
v18 done. For now, they're still all pink, though I toned it down a smidge. I need to test multicolor out a bit to make sure I don't accidentally make them dramatically overpopulated.
miss.kayleona 25 Nov, 2017 @ 4:50am
Glad to hear! XD I... would be personally pleased with a neon blue bunny but hey haha
The Rabid Otter 24 Nov, 2017 @ 1:30pm
@Rhilsul given the number of mods I play with, it was probably the result of other mods having their way(s) with the Big Fluffies, as it were.
BlueTressym 24 Nov, 2017 @ 3:33am
Yay!
Rihlsul  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 3:22am
I can probably update this for 18 soonish. If I recall correctly, the changes to the modding language will make it a pretty gentle update.

While in there, I can look at a .... less ghastly color palette option. :D

@The Rabid Otter
I'm baffled. I didn't make that happen, so... "I’m simply saying that life, uh… finds a way."
miss.kayleona 21 Nov, 2017 @ 4:50am
Will this be updating for B18?
BlueTressym 4 Nov, 2017 @ 5:53pm
I love the idea of giant fluffy bunnies but I have to agree with Saga_Slash about the colour. I realsie that not everyine's going to like them, whatever colour they are, but could be be adjusted to spawn in different colours, in the same way that humans etc can have different skintones?

TLDR: Giant rainbow bunnies FTW!
The Rabid Otter 27 Oct, 2017 @ 7:00pm
Excellent story introduction. I'm still playing A17, and it seems as if my female BigFluffies get pregnant even when separated from males for a quadrum or longer. Does your mod control the rate of pregnancies? Are BigFluffies one of those species in which the female stores sperm until conditions are right to fertilze the eggs?
Rihlsul  [author] 14 Aug, 2017 @ 10:07am
<3 That's... just perfect.
Fluffy 14 Aug, 2017 @ 1:34am
I'm Fluffy, and I approve of this mod.
Rihlsul  [author] 7 Jul, 2017 @ 9:52am
M'yeah, K. AlbinoFluffies mod incoming, eta about 4 hours.
Alchemy Saga 4 Jul, 2017 @ 10:45pm
Is there a way to make them... not pink? The color physically hurts my eyes and would give me a headache if i looked at them for any major length of time, but I would like this mod.
Primal_DLove 24 Jun, 2017 @ 6:09am
lol this is going to be interesting (big fluffies with pygmy muffalos)
Rihlsul  [author] 15 Jun, 2017 @ 9:45am
Updated the description to clarify.
Rihlsul  [author] 15 Jun, 2017 @ 9:44am
Not a bug. They're a bizarro bunny/megasloth hybrid. :D
Galvenox 11 Jun, 2017 @ 1:50pm
is that a bug on my end, or do the Bigfluffies give Megasloth wool when sheared?
Rihlsul  [author] 9 Jun, 2017 @ 2:52pm
Pushed a new update after a solid playtesting evening.

- Decreased the cost, massively. Way overpriced before. Now it's still pricey, since they're a galactic oddity, but it's possible.
- Traders were rarely carrying them. Increased the odds.
- Made them easier to tame, which also means easier to train.
- Added larger odds of them generating in a wider list of biomes. They do still prefer cold and temperate environments.

Enjoy!
Rihlsul  [author] 8 Jun, 2017 @ 2:24pm
:D Thanks - I will probably continue to to make absurd things as well as smaller utilities.
Blackglass Sand 8 Jun, 2017 @ 6:02am
I wasn't going to download this, but the story to introduce them was too funny not to. Nice job
BlueTressym 8 Jun, 2017 @ 12:00am
Love the story! :D
EvilNecroid 7 Jun, 2017 @ 8:26am
lol awesome
Rihlsul  [author] 7 Jun, 2017 @ 6:41am
Not sure they're particularly balanced, but they eat a lot. Have fun!
