A++ would blow up again.
I expected just somthing pretty to Shoot at, but upon closer inspetion i was surprised
to find a a fully functional and well labeled ship.
Also found hints that the Programmable Blocks originally even had scripts in them,
Like TIM, Automatic LCD's and even a floor Plan,
diasbled of course but still unusual for an "NPC Ship".
I decided to build one in Survival.
Found some minor design Flaws (at least in the Air traffic Version), the Refineries weren't
connectect, same with 2 of the Assemblers.
Easy to fix.
Other than that it performed surprisingly well, for a Ship of this size.
I Put Build&Repairs in it, Added a Survival Kit in front of the Server room, a Shield and a Drill&Fill.
Compared to many other Creations it is actually practical and functional,
need a few more Batteries whenn running the Ion's hough.
Kudos for your Amazing Work.
I've renamed mine the Dudu Oban.
Outstanding work.
I'd be happy to upload it for anyone interested. The elevator spans all 4 decks and goes from the main bridge to the engineering deck. I also added a passageway that runs along the belly of the ship with airlocks leading out of the fore and aft hull sections. They then come up under the sub-deck in the engineering space. Makes it handy to get into and out of the ship while on-planet.
We've got one under construction. :D PvP server. Likely to have a dedicated crew of three with a fighter escort. Gotta say, fighting this as an A.I. is scary enough, but as a carrier/mothership driven by players? Yikes. >:3
The starboard landing pad was entirely gutted from below, the main reactor was totally exposed when the rear of the keel was vaporized from the impact along with any of the thrusters there. The rear hydrogen thrusters were there, but nonfunctional from the damage.
The amazing thing when having secured the ship, and sitting at the controls and lifted off! Rather tricky at first, but straightened right out and gained altitude, sluggishly with all the lifting thrusters damaged/destroyed, but considering all of the damage she is a remarkably sturdy ship. I look forward to repaing her and taking her into space.
Thank you for building the Oban Tide with such resilience!
