there currently is no plan to update any of our ships/bases as we've moved on. We're not completelying ruling it out though.

this is great base. Please make also version with light armor. I finally found good looking base for me. I just needed to add medical room. That is all. Everything else this base have so it is good. :)

Right, I've just checked it, and no, there's no airtight seal over the ventilator, however, when spawning it in, it won't activate oxygen in all areas because there's not enough o2 in the tanks.

I spawned one in, filled it, turned o2 on, and voila, o2 in the hangar.

guessing you did not realise you used an "airtight" window shutter block across the hangar ventilator preventing 02 in the hangar? :steamhappy:

I wish they had a "place with air" option to hollow out the dirt in the basement. I see how this could be abused to dig giant holes, but there has to be a way of getting rid of the dirt

Pretty much all of our guidelines are soft, as a rough estimate though, both Vic and I agree that 3-5 blocks is a good place to start. That will usually see you get a basement floor in in most flatish locations. ;) We add 3-4 blocks per basement level below the first and aim to have 2 blocks under the lowest floor for all bases; some will require revisions for this ;)

Derp. Sorry. I read over it, dont know how I missed it. I have considered making a small outpost base thing, but how deep do you feel the base blocks should extend down to ensure the entire base is resting on the ground? I know that would vary based on size and the incline of the terrain but just as a basic kind of minimum number I guess is what I am looking for. I thought I read on the offical forums some guidelines for bases awhile back, but I could not find them yesterday when I searched.

This is a cool base. I like the sci-fi castle look. I need to attempt a base (other than the one I made in survival. I wish we could place bases with "air" inside so that any underground part would have the dirt removed. I have a habit of burrowing in survival games.

what is the class size?
