I think that vanilla RHS AK sounds are better. Can they be changed?

Mi-8s of all variants and all factions have no sound, both in pilot seat and from the ground. This also includes using the GREF support.

for gods sake fix the indoor gun firing, it no longer plays a more deafening realistic sound, just the same exact one that it is outside. really annoying, honestly everything else is fine but that is just shitty af.

Is there any chance of getting more different sounds between AKM and AK-74? They sound terribly similar at the moment, however they fire very different cartridges and by the logic sounds should be more different between each other.
Or do they come directly from the RHS mod itself?

The sound of AK74 and M4 sounded terrible, monotonous and unreal. Is this gunshot really recorded on-site? These two weapons are often used by people, the original version is even better, but the other sounds are really great. I hope you can do better and listen to other people’s suggestions. Thank you for your contribution.

Would it be possible for this mod to be updated for the latest RHS update? It seems like the RPK-74 uses PKM magazines instead of the correct AK-74 mags when the JSRS AFRF compat patch is loaded.

I hate to say this, but as a long time fan of the JSRS sound mods, the latest updates are pretty bad for RHS. Gun shot sounds are pretty bad, and the sound for grenade launcher shooting is just aweful. Instead of just a simple and realistic grenade launching sound, it sounds so overdone and hollywood-esque. I also think the sounds for RHS vehicles are broken. Overall I used to be a huge fan of JSRS but I'm wanting to NOT use it now because of how bad the latest sound updates are, especially for RHS.

Please , I beg you .... the previous AK sounds are way better , if a sound is loved by everyone there is no need to 'Update' it

definitely what @Landlubber says, the previous version was waaaaayy better than the current version.
AK's PK's (M4's and M240 M249 also) sound so hardly "dry" and wrong, couldnt you update it to the last version?

Or use the weapon and the explosion sound of the game Squad idk.
Those new sounds does not sound realistic anymore.
It's nice to keep it up to date, but sometimes these updates are every second month per year (just an example), like you keep saying "Okay, the sound is okay, but I need something new."
JSRS is the best soundmod for me, but sometimes these updates of the new weapon sounds are annoying when these new ones sound like crap.

Anyway, thanks for your freetime work of that, its just a little criticism on my part.

Would you mind adding the echo sound into this soundmod?It would be much more realistic with gunshot echo like those in the original JSRS soundmods,it's a shame we don't have it in this one.

@jay6 yeah, but the thing is they sound really lame when playing the game. I kinda like the realism, but hearing pops instead of "gunshots" is really underwhelming. Personally, if you have ever used the "Mass US and RUS Weapons" mod (idk the name exactly), try the AK12, it sounds really awesome. It sounds more like what you here without earplugs, or from a camera.

in my honest opinion the default small arm sounds are more realistic, if you ever have earplugs or anything like that when shooting real firearms, the default rhs sounds are exactly like the real deal. Though you guys always nail the vehicle and bullet sounds :)

I'll add new reloading sounds for RHS weapons as well. Next update! Stay patient...

please add an option to remove/disable reload sounds for RHS weapons. The gunshots for these packs sound great, but the reloads sound very sub-par (and unsynced to animations).

reload sounds are kinda mess. some chuckling sounds are kinda making disturbing. it makes me feel as if i'm handling plastic air soft bbgun not a full metal.

I'm having the same problem as below. I cannot hear my friends shots.

my buddy can hear me shooting with the RHS guns and the soundmod on his server but i can't see or hear him shoot. i can hear vehicles, the vehicle guns shotting and explosions but no firearm sounds. anyone got a clue`?

i really like the m70 sounds from your RHS GREF AND SAF SUPPORT pack. could you use these for the akm's too? i think they fit way better than the current akm sound. also the m70 is technically an akm, so the akm and m70 shouldn't sound that different at all.

Ural sound is a RHS problem, got this aswell with the UAZs and with no soundmod installed.
