great idea for a map. having no issues with the map except for one thing: the container that floats above (as a counterweight for the drawbridge). yeah, I know that's how the bridge is suppose to look, but I second what Tototo said earlier: it looks out of place when it hovers in the air after you destroy the other sections of the bridge. I vote to make it easy on yourself and simply remove the container, but up to you.

I love people that use their imagination when it comes to map props.
And you good sir have realy gone all inn! Great design.
As a note, i would keep working on the textures and extra map details. Getting nice blends and layers going to make it all look and feel real.

Again, great map

I really like your map. but the container you used as part of the bridge is pretty annoying, it hovers in the air afer you use your arty once or twice sice the steel beams are destroyed, but the container cant be destroyed

Thanks for the note I've seen your map and will rework my Sectors

Great little map, thumbs up from a fellow map maker.

I did note that the AI tended to run across the bridge to try & take the points on the other side, & had trouble capping the bridge because of where the flag is. Have a look at my Adler Kanal bridge map for a better way of doing the sectors so the AI doesnt act like a dick.

Thank you for the book tip.

@hey larry: I've seen a couple aerial photos on Google and Steven Ambrose's book is a pretty good resource too. Nice improvements by the way!

I hope the problem with the tranches is now fixed.

I think it is feasible Benouville and the Orne River Bridge to incorporate into a larger map, if I find useful pictures of Benouville.
SkyPilot 26 Jun, 2017 @ 4:56pm
@ hey larry: If you want to keep improving/working on the map, it could be cool to expand the size of the map out to include Benouville, Le Port, and maybe out to the Orne River Bridge at Ranville if you have enough room? That would make an interesting 4v4 map :-)

Now the water looks better.

Thanks for the nice comments. This is my first map, I have not much experience with the world builder and can not exploit its potential, but I will continue to work on the map and try to eliminate the errors.

Some trench are buildings.
the Water is a bit milky, but the shore looks very well.

overall a good map!

Hello! I played through your map and I think it looks great! Very historical which I appreciate. One game did crash though and I'm not sure if that was the map or something else. Anyway I think it's great and I'm glad to see a good rendition of this map! Thanks!
