Indeed. OR if you look closely it is the symbol seen as a broach on the vampire clothing found on vampires througout Skyrim. But yes, it seems heavily influinced by the Chaos Star.

Sorry for the late reply. I have no plans on making a one handed variant. The mesh is too long for that and I have no desire to tweak it and re-build a mod for it. Besides, didn't any one teach you that two handed is far superior once you invest points into Quick Reflexes and Block Runner? JK i won't try to tell you how to play lol.

I don't know if you're still around, but if you are: any plans on making a one-handed variant of this sword?

It should be showing up under Daedric. I just checked, uninstalled, reinstalled and then double checked and It is showing up under Daedric. This is the simplest form of mod so there should be no problems. Although I can't imagine how it could happen but perhaps there is another mod somehow conflicting with this one?

I have thought there are only cheerles & weak katanas in user mod until now.
But this Dai-katana you created is too attractive for me to use other katana mods!

LOL that really is the worse game ever made. BUT dai katanas are an elder scrolls staple. It's not my fault.

it should install on its own once you subscribe. not sure what would cause it not to install.

How do you install this? I clicked on "Subscribe" but it didn't give me a link, or anything. I also checked my Skyrim Data folder, plus Mod Manager, but I don't see a new entry for this.

What smithing type is it listed under? (ebony, steel, daedric, etc) I can't find it without console commands. Also as a side note, you should make a quest around this sword. You know add some lore behind it. Good mod.

@13th penalty: Nope, there is no vampire hood. My bad. That is a Mage Hood which cannot be obtained in game. You can either use the console code to get it or create a custom item with the Creation Kit.

@reonex: I can not even begin to imagine what might be wrong other than somehow another mod is conflicting with this one.

Try this:
go to console by pressing the ~ key. Then type (without quotations) "help vampirelord 4" If your game is indeed loading the mod there should be a listing of an item named "Vampirelord Dai-Katana" and there should be the item id number after it. Use that id number for this next part.
Now type "player.additem (item id number goes here) 1" and press enter. If the console did not give you the sword then i have no idea why this simple mod is not working for you.

You also might want to try deleting/unsubscribing and then re-subscribing to get a fresh download.
