Ye, sorry if that caused a bit of confusion.
Oh no, this mod works fine for the XS Mechs itself, its just a set of mods titled Mech Compatibility loader and whatnot that aren't related to this that was the issue.
I'm using XS Mechs which may explain why it looks different, however this mod started working again once I uninstalled the Mech Compatibility set and its related mods.
Right, I'll check.
Instead of the blue bar, there's the original red-to-green bar and it drains like vanilla. Is it possible I have mods installed that shouldn't be paired with this?

the only thing my mod changes is that update function and dummys out any damage it takes every game tick. so intead of taking fuel damage it just stays at 100% fuel.
it actually worked with FU (unless it changed), though you did need to fuel the mech atleast once
you take normal damage in your mech, energy drains from movement, energy drains from firing weapons.
Repeat; needs to be updated...
I have Tech that allows me to phase through blocks so with Frackin' Universe, you could use that Tech. "Phase Shift" or something like that.
I want to clear the last of "Bounty Hunter" final stage, but I can't mech control as well
