I would love it if the stopwatch actually showed your longest life as a scout, but that might not even be possible within the game.
BIGWELD IS BACK 19 Jan, 2013 @ 9:51pm
This is cool idea
Hangar 15 22 Dec, 2012 @ 3:08pm
well mvm takes place in '72
crobb 14 Nov, 2012 @ 2:55pm
It would be kind of cool if it actually counted how long the wearer has been alive.
Disgruntled Persian 1 Oct, 2012 @ 10:05pm
@ Nataro Robots weren't invented until 3984. Your logic is invalid.
Notarobotyet 25 Sep, 2012 @ 12:40pm
a few things are wrong with your logic:

the scout is only at least as old as 23. it says "for a brief stint in high school", and therefore could have been 5 years ago. there is no official age out.

the first digital clock used in organized sports was used in 1971. (wikipedia'd, obviously. i'm no expert.)

other than that, good idea. fits in with the athletic theme.

Nice max!
Anthony_python 20 Sep, 2012 @ 1:12pm
yea really max, valve don't do your rejection bullshit ok, geez, i know some things needs to be rejected but, this is max we talking about c'on
Squishy Bloo | TTV 18 Sep, 2012 @ 3:11pm
THIRD TIME'S A CHARM THEY SAY
HOPEFULLY ITS NOT REJECTED...for some bullshit reason.
she/her 17 Sep, 2012 @ 2:53pm
What valve should do is when ever scout starts moving, the item starts ticking. And when he stops moving, it stops and when he moves again, it resets and starts again. The description would state the best run from the length of the start of the 2fort bridge to the end.

Tenshinen 15 Sep, 2012 @ 8:03am
You should make it show the local time of the player using it! :D
Greasehound 15 Sep, 2012 @ 7:53am
Yeah, this is appropriate for the scout. I'd buy
Jayestar 13 Sep, 2012 @ 5:13pm
I think the clock should count up during run. When the Scout stops moving the clock resets. It would be difficult, but awesome.
TUscrap 13 Sep, 2012 @ 6:33am
like

MUITO FIXXEE
Boon 12 Sep, 2012 @ 11:11am
should make the time 3:33 or able to customize the time
Myash 12 Sep, 2012 @ 10:20am
number isn't 13:37
0/10
[IC] BobbyDigi 11 Sep, 2012 @ 11:50pm
Cool idea. Would be cool if it counted something like a strange.
Kajman 11 Sep, 2012 @ 9:47pm
Although a small model it could use some more polys woulden't you think?
【Triple⛧Star】 11 Sep, 2012 @ 9:04pm
i would love if it did something cool
like have hours played or wiggle
Goblin Girlie 11 Sep, 2012 @ 7:07pm
love it, i would pay money for it.
The Brofist [TFM] 11 Sep, 2012 @ 6:29pm
It should time the amount of time you've been alive for that life.
CmereSweetHeart 11 Sep, 2012 @ 6:22pm
nice should work wiht the time of the round no?
Beastmode 11 Sep, 2012 @ 6:01pm
would look perfect w/ track terrorizer
Levitika 11 Sep, 2012 @ 2:21pm
For people asking "Why 19:45"? Read the description.
Mr Skeltal 11 Sep, 2012 @ 9:39am
The number/time should count up with each kill you get
Matsukovich 10 Sep, 2012 @ 1:05am
yeah they do, he's meaning, if steampunk robots are destroying mann co, they clearly have the know-how to make digital clocks
MistPrism 9 Sep, 2012 @ 8:34pm
Robots don't really seem to have much to do with digital timefaces.
Shiva 9 Sep, 2012 @ 8:23pm
Looks pretty good, and fits the style of the scout. Maybe make the numbers customizable? Why 1945?
Dana Cief 9 Sep, 2012 @ 12:22pm
@SLBros. Like a bagguette knife for the spy?
lil mkwa 9 Sep, 2012 @ 9:52am
Hope this gets added, would love to put it on my scout
Rev 9 Sep, 2012 @ 6:25am
Perhaps this could be labeled as a "Level # Futuristic Time Device", kinda like The Boston Boom Bringer is labeled as a "Futuristic Sound Device"
MaxL  [author] 9 Sep, 2012 @ 6:09am
Mabeas, I'm thinking that if there's an army of robots invading, someone has invented digital stopwatches already :p
Karate Pencil Case 9 Sep, 2012 @ 6:00am
Very nice, despite there aren't many necklaces for scout :)
MistPrism 9 Sep, 2012 @ 5:53am
I thought digital stopwatches hadn't been invented until the 70's.
Sir Wrexes 9 Sep, 2012 @ 5:44am
Haha Nice trivia! Thanks for the info! :D
MaxL  [author] 9 Sep, 2012 @ 5:40am
The watch doesn't count numbers, turnip. It's stuck on 19:45 because 1945 is the Scout's birth year! (1968 - 23 years old, from the track vest's description)
ZVAARI 9 Sep, 2012 @ 4:35am
This is great, and you deserve something in-game, Max.
Sir Wrexes 9 Sep, 2012 @ 3:24am
Does the watch actually counts the time? Or the numbers change sometimes? ( I guess that's not really possible but maybe? )

@KarkasMolenKlok ( <)
Hey, why not? Max puts as much of his time in this little details as in more important stuff. That's something I personally like. :3
Matsukovich 9 Sep, 2012 @ 2:43am
Meow
Karkasmolen 9 Sep, 2012 @ 1:35am
I dunno why you're bothering to decorate the back lol

The Bunniest Bunny Ever 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:53pm
I love it.
its one of those items thats just perfect and suits the class very well.
its not like some sort of dumb shirt that if painted right can be seen a mile away. :I
(not saying i hate the fast learner but bright green sleeves look really odd.)
MaxL  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:38pm
Macbeth, that already exists and it's called the loading screen. :U
double u 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:30pm
Would be cool if you could add a strange part to it to count the kills you had during that life. And it could keep score of the highest kill streak... make it happen valve
(even though you wouldnt be able to see)
tree 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:12pm
lods dont seem that efficient but otherwise nice
✡DCTF✞ 8 Sep, 2012 @ 7:12pm
better now that it's bigger.
MaxL  [author] 8 Sep, 2012 @ 6:57pm
I've sized it up by approximately 20%, I'll update the promo images now.
Rev 8 Sep, 2012 @ 6:52pm
Oh, and to those complaining that it's too small: look at the Sign of The Wolf's School dogtag replacement which can only paint the teeny tiny little eyes (perfectly good waste of paint) THEN see if this is too small for TF2. Thanks.
