Just so people are aware of the current status:
This works like a player skin, not like a vehicle!
- You can change into the mech at any medical station, or the provided mech recharge station
- The animations work
- You can also place blocks
- Tools and weapons can be used (though they hover in front of the left Mech gun and the camera bounces a bit in third person when you do).
Getting out of it / getting back into a normal player skin is tricky!
(Sektan & xEMPIREVSREBLESx already pointed this out)
- You need to use the medical station or recharge station.
- The recharge station always kick you out of the menu in like 5 seconds. As soon as you are in the mech, even the normal medical station will also kick you out.
You have to be pretty fast to get back into human form.
Minor inconveniences
- Aiming at buttons or with tools can be a little difficult
- Flying is a little bit wonky, but works.
Shogo Mobile Armor Division in SE.

Even more with the new Update .
YOU ARE SEKTAN! You are one of, if not THE most legendary SE modders on the workshop that's still around! I mean look at it! It's already amazingly good AND something that's never really been done before, and this is still a WORK-IN-PROGRESS!
Very, VERY heavy armour, more cargo space for huge amounts of ammunition, longer battery life (somewhere in-between Base-Chassis and C/R Chassis), and higher-capacity Oxygen Tanks (also between Base-Chassis and C/R Chassis), but lower movement speed (same as the Base-Chassis' current speed), and very weak jump-jets (or none at all).
Much faster movement speed, very long battery life, and slightly higher Oxygen capacity, but has no inertial dampeners (if it's even possible to force-disable them, if not just make it super-drifty), very light armour, and extremely low-capacity Hydrogen Tanks and storage.
This deployed with a 40mm AT-Gun would be very effective at discreetly causing mayhem in an enemy base from long-range like that "remote-sniper in a bush" tactic that LSG talked about recently, but much more dangerous due to the fact that it's (highly) mobile.
The same as the C/R Chassis, but with Base-Chassis jump-jets, slower movement speed (the Base-Chassis' current speed), more armour, and a little bit more cargo space, since ore has more mass than most compenents.
MECHS:
Construction/Repair Chassis
Faster and more stable (less drifty) jump-jets, more cargo space, longer battery life, and higher Hydrogen/Oxygen capacity, but much, MUCH less armour (only JUST enough to protect the pilot from the Klang-Propelled space debris that often occurs when grinding-down ships).
Fires (you guessed it) 40mm ammunition, very high per-shot damage, 30RPM (one shot every two seconds, basic math), accurate at ranges up to 300m. Something like the Small-Ship sniper-rifle model would fit perfectly.
Fires 30mm HE ammunition, high per-shot damage, low RPM (half that of the Percise Assault Rifle), accurate at ranges up to 215m. You could do it by having the game consider it as a high-RPM, high ammo-capacity Reloadable Rocket Launcher that shoots high-velocity "missiles" that auto-blow at 215m, but uses 30mm ammo.
Fires 5.56 ammunition, medium per-shot damage, high RPM (about that of the fixed Small-Ship gatling), accurate at ranges up to 175m, uses suit-power (half of SMG). It would look great as a three-barrel rotary cannon.
