Imagine being upset over a guy fixing and uploading a mod that the original author didn't bother with. As far as I know, re-uploading doesn't break the rules.

@Sektan If you refuse a reupload, then keep your mods up to date and working omg.. The author of this reupload is just giving a hand to everyone and saving some update time (if you are that busy)

Are you guys fucking serious? The original mod author hasn't touched his thruster mods in 4 years... he doesn't fucking care, and they're broken due to him not touching them. This guy is a hero for getting one of these good thruster mods somewhat current again.

In order to issue a DCMA you must have a copyright or patented filed, S.J.W. If you upload it here it is defacto owned by either steam or Makers of space engineers, a little reading of terms of service from steam might be a good idea Social.Jusrtice.Warrior:steammocking:.

Actually Derek, under international copyright the original creator can issue a DMCA takedown and if not complied with can followup with a lawsuit!

Before you update someone's mod get there permission and add them as a contributor since they made the orignal model

It is Sektan's design and as long as it looks so similar,no matter what you have changed, your mod is a copy of his design and is in violation of the copyright's rules. Steam community admins should be informed about this and have it removed

im actually friends with Sektan there was no permission to reupload this mod you need to remove it before you get reported also Sektan is a busy guy so understand he does work hard on his mods hes got alot of them and as the Witch said it does say on his page do not reupload any mods without permission so please remove

although i dont speak for sektan i would say please remove this Sektan is an active modder and has clear defined no reposting statements. If you must "rebalance" something make sure it is only for your use and not posted on workshop. Even if you give credit it is clear you have not spoken with Sektan.

I wasn't even aware of this mod's existence before. There are way too few "mixed" thruster mods on the workshop so I hope Sektan will not suddenly wake up and realise ppl are updating his mods and then get angery at them.

"Putting a note" isn't enough. You should at the very least have gotten his permission first. Unless your solely keeping it on your HD.

No one said you were stealing, I just noted Sektan has it posted he does not want his mods republished. Even with you making changes to suit your needs/wants it is still republished...just saying.

I did not try to steal ownership of Sektan's work, I have putted a note that Sektan is the creator of the mode. I only changed some settings like power and materials requirements and icons.
