It'll be up to you to put where the bases will be. Knowing where to put the bases can be a little hard unless you've watched hundreds of ship vs ship space combat media and you know where the bases are most efficient to perform

For those anyone looking to sub to this really amazing and well-done ship design and you're looking to give it your most deadliest guns...I'm afraid there aren't any turret bases as this was made way before turret bases were a thing

Your designs rock for ship handling and performance. Wish they all had turret bases but if thats all I gotta do to have that awesome ship thats way better than most workshop.

Three year old ship, custom turrets didn't exist.

I feel like an idiot, but, I can't seem to find the turret bases anywhere... am I just blind, or is it intended that we add them ourselves?

@Qloshae , Well you can now just simply get 2 artifacts and have 0 cooldown time no matter the size or orignal cooldown because it reducings your cooldowns by 110%

These are great. I don't even build my own ships anymore lol I just upscale some of these. Only thing left is a 15 slot titan, frieghter, and smaller cargo haulers.

I scaled this up a bit so that the drone was able to fly through the open panels and the ship made stations look small and it was still easy to manouver. Worst part of that was the over 1000 seconds hyperspace cooldown, although the jump range of over 100 squares makes me less annoyed about that. :p I bet one of those hyperspace CD reducers are really useful for this ship in the end game. :p

This design in particular makes me hope to see a 15 slot design from you one day. Love it! Sprawling structure, imposing silhouette, and looks to match its sheer scale.

how the hell did you get a ship this big to turn like a fighter lololol mine always turn into oversized boats

I use one of the commands packages from the forums to fill in the crew, that way it would show thrust and max velocity at 100% with no bonuses. As for yaw/pitch/roll, I always build with an excessive amount of them, then let the adding of parts bring that down to a less silly level. Otherwise, it's a lot of winging it and tuning with hidden blocks or blocks that look like decor.

How do you figure out what the stats are going to be before you add a crew? I am still trying to figure out 'good stats' when building new ships... usually I screw up someplace because they do not match it's working stats.

Nope. I messed up and made the ship too small, so it's still a 13 slot one. Also, rescaling it will cause it to handle like an asteroid.

Don't worry, the engineers responsible for this mistake have already been executed laid off and their families melted into protein paste properly compensated.

Another team of POWs engineers have already been forced given the important task of designing a successor to the Olympus.

Love your ships however you should have the engineers fired they messed up on a section. My engineers located a section thats in the top forward mid section where the 5 armoed curved peices are plus the 2 that step up towards the midsection. The second step up has armor that is off center. My engineers fixed this error and you should recive the bill eventually. XD

The Iron is for building inertia dampeners, they provide a large amount of braking power (subspace friction), but do not provide any thrust. They can only be built out of Iron or Avorion.

The only parts you really need out of avorion are the special blocks really, the rest can be lighter materials. Also, on a side note, what is the iron for, machines to make protein paste

No, actually. I shy away from using Avorion for some reason. The most I usually go to is Trinium-Xanion composite.

Yeah, I'm figuring things as I go. This is literally the second time around that I'm using the workshop. Still haven't figured out how to swap out the thumbnails though. As far as marketting goes ( heh heh...), it's that first image that really needs to hook in the audience, and the shaders aren't being rendered properly in the automatically generated thumbs, which makes me sad.

Incredible Work on the whole line as stated, may i suggest adding them all to a nice collection? (just ignore this if its just me stumbling in the upload process, just happy to see YOUR name below them...)
