its literally just textures... no, not even textures, colors. you can't be incompatible with hex codes unless you overwrite the whole file.

It should. "[COLORBOUND] 2016" is just the name of the mod.

At first I thought so, because every other paintable item works like that, but after seeing that uninstalling the mod removed the colors from my active mech, I'm not sure anymore.

If i were to change my mech parts color with this mod, would it work in multiplayer with others who dont have the mod? From what I understand it should, but I'd need a bit of confirmation to be sure.

This mod adds more colors to the list of mech colors. If you can already change the part's color, this mod will work.

Some quick testing:

If you uninstall the mod, your mech will revert to vanilla colors. I think it just goes back to the default colors.

will it work for custom (modded) parts? Is it safe to uninstall it, or its one-way trip?
