I think I've found a (possible) fix for the health bar problem, but you'll need to modify the .vtf files (And maybe create more to simulate lower health, but I haven't tried that, plus it might require messing with the vmt itself)

By simply extracting the vtf file of the health bar to a tga and modifying it's color using the color replacement tool in Photoshop, you can technically fix it, though it will look like it has a gradient on it. Still better than nothing, tho.

What exactly went wrong with the bars? I'm extremely intrigued as to what so majorly fucked up.
