Report a translation problem
Be certain to make a copy of the folder for the map name and name it something different, then on the copied folder is the map.lua you would want to delete the farms.
Any modders, please consider correcting me if I'm mistaken.

If you have access to the workshop, I would highly recomend using Industry Tycoon or the Tycoon GX mod to place your own industries.

I get the message in red:
"Game initialization failed: Heightmap too large. Number of pixels must not exceed 16M."
The navigable rivers include the 4 main rivers that were dredged and/or had accompanying major canals: the Erie-Ohio and the Miami-Ohio. I used this map for reference: https://rsc.byu.edu/sites/default/files/ohiocanals.jpg
