Scratch that, you can spawn them in with the spawner and they won't de-spawn. Turns out a mod I am working on is busting all my custom races lmao.

Funny you should say that. When I was answering your question I was going to say you can spawn em with the spawner. I tested it and I have realised I am missing some dialog files. (Npcs die when you talk to them aha)

So I need to fix that. Since its a pretty big oversight by me I will make it my top priority.

Zombies won't show up in their own villages on planets n what not if that's what you mean.

That is a fun idea!

I am in the middle of other projects atm however, so I am not sure if I can dedicate the time to make those.

I was just making sure that I wasn't doing something wrong. (Also i like using the weapons that come with races) but the claws seem to be missing an attack or something too in the combo... Might I suggest adding in tiers for claws?

Well technically it has one but I didn't want it to activate so my noobie wep maker self just made it impossible to proc. I am unsure if you can have a fist item without a finisher.

It's on the third line of the zombie claw item. It goes damage per swing, rate of fire, then Finisher: Dash Slash.

If you mean the green Zombie Claws, then they are designed to not have finishers.

I kinda wanted em to be weak little scratching claws.

The only traits they have are "breathProtection" and "poisonStatusImmunity"

Hi there I got this mod recently and I was playing with it before with admin so test things.
I saw the merchants but when I deactivated the admin I could not find how to get them.

Is it some kind of research I need to unlock or a place I need to go specifically?

Now, I might have missed something here, but I'm not able to upgrade the starter claws with upgrade modules like other weapons. Any idea how I might upgrade them otherwise?

An Intro mission from reviving in the midst of a Ruin strike on some world to seek revenge for your people and prevent this dire fate falling on others, eating raw food (and cooking for Terramart) but truly drawing sustenence from the death of enemies (or just the gore, there's some gore mods out there, so why not?) Darkvision which amounts to canceling shadows...

Concept; infesting weapons! A special effect that, when an enemy dies under its effect, it will spawn a friendly creature to commit murder/arson/tax fraud with you.

Other concept; heal from raw meat! Take damage from healing water!

One last concept; some sort of lore about what caused zombies to manifest with their intelligence level! This could stem from the Erchius Horror or similar.

The Race Authors are actually needed to determine stats and such in-game, otherwise they're just treated as a blank slate race.

They have a Template Species Patch text file that most modders should be familiar with; if you're curious about having Zombies in Frackin' Universe represented more.
