Scratch that, you can spawn them in with the spawner and they won't de-spawn. Turns out a mod I am working on is busting all my custom races lmao.
Funny you should say that. When I was answering your question I was going to say you can spawn em with the spawner. I tested it and I have realised I am missing some dialog files. (Npcs die when you talk to them aha)
So I need to fix that. Since its a pretty big oversight by me I will make it my top priority.
I will need your definition of whole race to answer that one.
Zombies won't show up in their own villages on planets n what not if that's what you mean.
I am in the middle of other projects atm however, so I am not sure if I can dedicate the time to make those.
Well technically it has one but I didn't want it to activate so my noobie wep maker self just made it impossible to proc. I am unsure if you can have a fist item without a finisher.
If you mean the green Zombie Claws, then they are designed to not have finishers.
I kinda wanted em to be weak little scratching claws.

I saw the merchants but when I deactivated the admin I could not find how to get them.
Is it some kind of research I need to unlock or a place I need to go specifically?

Sorry these starter claws cannot be upgraded. I thought claws would be a fun addition
Now, I might have missed something here, but I'm not able to upgrade the starter claws with upgrade modules like other weapons. Any idea how I might upgrade them otherwise?
Other concept; heal from raw meat! Take damage from healing water!
One last concept; some sort of lore about what caused zombies to manifest with their intelligence level! This could stem from the Erchius Horror or similar.
