It's one of my favorite maps, the strange mountian ranges make for some interesting routes. Plenty of shipping room as well. Many of the towns are spaced out for long routes, which in later years makes for good high speed lines. The water is deep and bridges may cost a tad more unless you are using the no-cost mod. Glad you are enjoying the map...

It's a great map. Started from 1850 with new industries mod and lot's of other stuff on medium difficulty, very challenging due to long distance of each towns.

Yes that mod has messed many people's games up...wish it was removed. Glad you found it, enjoy the map.

Okay i found out that it was propably the "brush ground" mod that caused the problem. :)

I have a problem with this map, the shoreline textures are fields. Any idea what could cause that?

Do you have experimentalMapSizes = true, set in your settings.lua xml file?
I Subscribe to all my own projects from the Workshop after I publish them just to make double sure the files are correct...I am in the middle of a new build from downloading my own files...so I know they work. Not to mention I have just about every mod made for this thing and there are no conflicts that I see...I would double check the experimental map size setting, maybe un-subscribe...then re-subscribe.

Oh also remember you will see 2 maps
1) Heshen Valley...this one has no industries for using the industry mods.
2) Heshen Valley Ind...this version is set for the use of the game's random placed industries around the cities.

After you subscribe you go to Free Game then the Select Map button is in the small menu.

Map is not able to be selected on the map in the game.
