@The Great Beaver, neah, I'm not sure you can make something like that. I'm sorry. The only thing I can think of is probably replacing like 50% of Starbound OST. So you'll have both Starbound and Skyrim music.

Instead of replacing the original soundtrack for Starbound, the mod would add music to the game so sometimes you would hear a Skyrim track and sometimes you would hear a Starbound track.

Vanilla music is replaced, but tell me: LOTR and StarWars music is just simply added? It didn't replace default Starbound tracks? If it didn't then this mod is compatible with addition mods.
