I like how the publisher took the extra step of lining up the barrel and dart pocket perfectly so that it looks like he’s actually blowing a dart and putting in another, 11/10 creativity.

@乃ushy_丂leevies✿ゴ●• Custom animations are kind of a death sentence for weapons. They already have a low chance of acceptance in game and animations are extra work for the devs. There is a reason so few guns have them. So I tried to make a blowgun that worked as well with the base animations as possible, It's not perfect but I think it worked out well enough. I have had custom animations on a weapon before though. Check out the Moonbeam, Sedi did an amazing job with the animations on that one.

Mate, can i suggest having a custom animation where instead of him having a bolt-action reload, have him have him take a needle out with same flow of a bolt reload. Kinda like a flare-gun but sideways

Good:
+100% more silenced
+Enemies get 15 seconds of bleed out!
+35% faster movement speed!

Bad:
-50% charge
-75% reload speed
-15% health
-10% less ammo

Should have similar functions as the Machina since it would make sense that that sniper would have to hold it up and put it in his mouth.

This would be a good weapon for stealth sniping since you could maybe fire poison rounds that makes the target take damage overtime instead of instantly dying. By the time the poison kills them, you would have already been in a different position by now.
Wouldn't let it deal that much damage on the first it. Maybe just 1 hp. But the real damage is from the poison.

Either a Sydney Sleeper reskin or these unique stats;

Applies speed reduction on scoped shot. Duration and amount slowed increase with charge. (Duration goes from 2 seconds at empty, to 6 seconds at full. And speed reduction goes from -10% at empty, to -35% on full)
66% damage dealt with primary comes back as health (can overheal)
-33% damage penalty on scoped shots
On scoped shot hit on ally: provides a speed boost. Duration increase with charge (1 second at empty, 3 seconds at full)

For stats, honestly I'd go with the same idea of the Machina, not being able to fire without aiming down sights, simply because of the need for a mouth to blow the dart, but I'd settle for a moment of hesitation before firing, the problem being the animation needed for bringing the gun up in first-person with out sighting...

Stats for me:
No Charge time
slows target (Bodyshot: 30%) (Headshot 60%)
Marks Target for death for 10 seconds after hit
Target gets bleed effect after hit

Headshots do 150 dmg
bodyshots only do 30 damage


Reasonings: Marked for death mini-crits. So.. after a bodyshot, a headshot will finish off that Heavy (Hopefully :P) This could be a whole new playstyle bodyshot, then headshot... | The Bleed effect is meant to finish off the other team to help support yours | I would have said that thing that smol but fat robin said, but bonk's are getting removed in the pyro Update...


PS: If this does make it in the next update, give it a cool description (It needs a story (`・ω・´)9) :D

stats for me:
on hit: stuns enemys with bonk on their head for 3 seconds
possible chance of the player dying after getting stunned with the blowdart
+15 damage more from the sydney sleeper
no random critical hits

Ok Valve, here's some stats for you:
Shots do not fire unless charged
Charge amount decides distance fired
On hit target is slowed as well as firerate with bleed damage
(basically the new sandman effect with bleed damage)
shots deal bonus slow time on headshot
Fully Charged headshots kill instantly
No Recoil on firing
Charge-up time is Increased by 100%
Cannot fire non-scoped shots
Main ammo reduced by 20%
Damage reduction of 50% on all non Fully-Charged shots

I did pack a custom dart projectile into the submission just in case they add the weapon and want it to fire darts.
