Can't remember if it was this mod or something else but I remember there being a mod that makes antiquarian able to stress heal in an aoe. Anyone know it?

Secondly, the chance for Blight is pretty low on Fortifying Vapors but the actual Blight you get hit with is a bit absurd. Some of my heroes go down to half-health from one Blight and God save them if I'm trying to heal them while they're already suffering from Blight. I nearly lost one of my heroes solely because I kept trying to heal them as they were suffering Blight and the chance to cause Blight just kept landing on them. Maybe (1 damage / 5 turns) or (2 damage / 3 turns) would be a good change or modifying her Invigorating Vapors to heal Blight?

I've been using this Antiquarian mod allot and I'm liking allot of the changes, definitely makes her more playable and useful in a party.

There are a couple things I'd like to say as feedback though:

For one her Flashpowder can't actually De-Stealth enemies because it can't target Stealthed enemies. I'm not sure what point it would have for De-Stealthing otherwise so in that regard the ability does not work, the other tweaks to it though are excellent and the Debuff ACC works very well.

Fortifying vapor's doesn't seem to have a "chance" to cause blight as much as it causes blight every time. I don't understand the point of healing 5-10 health when you lose 9 health over 3 rounds.

Flashpowder "de-stealths", but cannot actually target Stealthed enemies (via "Bypasses Stealth"), so does not/cannot actually remove Stealth from enemies. Good tweaks, though!:steamhappy:

Uh I mean she has more use that just being there to increase the amount of gold you hoard, played right, even modless she can buff a insane amount of dodge to your party and with the right combo you can get through fights dodging 50-90% of attacks (which is very useful for those bosses that like to double tap or hit hard as hell). Gonna try this out but she honestly doesn't feel like she needs buffing hehe

I also noticed the same thing as @Nightly. The Flashpowder has a "De-stealth" component, but it doesn't have a "Bypass Stealth" effect.

It feels like this hero is much more combat effecient now.
What is the chance to apply blight on heal? It would be nice to see it in the description.
Also can't target stealth enemies with Flashpowder-5 which is supposed to de-stealth.

Thought I'd give this one a go. So far Nervous Stab feels too strong or maybe its because her base damage is too high. Maybe you can lower the accuracy on Nervous Stab or decrease the base DMG by a few points (Its called Nervous Stab for a reason). It just doesn't feel right her being such an efficient DMG dealer.

waiting on another mod for the Antiquarian, i gave this one a try. not expecting it, turns out i quite like what you did here, even though i am a fan of Aoe spread vapours i was getting out of the last mod i was using.

now im using all but the occultist one, and in general i quite like these versions. overall i like what you went with here, Loklin. will there be an unchained flagellant and Shieldbreaker?

Hey guys I have updated the mod and it should now work properly with the new Color of Madness DLC. I am sorry you had to wait but I haven't even tried the DLC myself yet :steamhappy:

If it doesn't work try to unsubscribe, restart steam, and then subscribe again.
If you have an in-game issue after you've done that, leave a comment.

I did not add the new abilties and stats changes from the DLC (except for the new buff you get when you crit) and I do not plan to add them anytime soon. If you want to make these changes feel free to use the files from this mod and upload your version (just put my nickname somewhere). I can also update this mod with your modifications, your work will of course be credited.

I feel like the base for blight to trigger is a bit high at 80% for healing to be worth using. why not make it more like Wyrd Reconstruction that has a 60% base?

These mods are a lot closer to breaking the game than you seem to have intended. It's very "easy mode" but if that's what you want go ahead an subscribe, enjoy it.

I know, let's take the class whose kit is oriented mostly around keeping herself safe while she earns you phat stacks of loot and turn her into a primary healer who does good damage WHILE STILL EARNING PHAT STACKS OF LOOT.

Whenever I hear about these 'unchained' mods and briefly consider using them, I just need to remember this one to convince myself that I don't need or want this easy-mode garbage.

Love this mod, she is my culler which makes sense how observant she is supposed to be. It was silly to have someone whose sole purpose in life is knowledge and power then have absolutely no idea how to deal with enemies. This makes sense.
Nerf the flashpowder please . Just with spamming the buff of the Man at arms and the flashpowerd I'm untouchable... and with with twoantiquarian that would be a "no hit run"

Hello, enjoying the changes in this collection but I was just wondering if it was possible to make fortifying vapours work like the flagellants reclaim (the heal over time) I think that this wold work better with the Athenaeum district buff and her set trinket (which both boost bonus blight chance) with out being to powerful.

maybe you should rework antiquarian to give special bonuses that compensate for her weakness?

I mean, i understand if your going to balance for simple damage and strength, but TBH antiquarian is kinda meant to be a liability that trades usefulness for gold.

I'd say you should make her useful in other aspects like
better monster suprise chances and less hero suprise chances
buffs to damage/healing/curing stress, marks etc
special camping abilities (like disease curing to save money)

its best to think how she is used: using protect me (which is a good support skill that buffs prot and force guards), so why not have her strategy center around that?

The reason I tell you about this is the character generation code is located at the bottom of the hero skill file. I make the following change. ".number_of_class_specific_camping_skills 0 .number_of_shared_camping_skills 1". I use most of your mods, I just tweak your files to make that change.

Overall the aim is to make the camping mechanic more fun and useful in the game. If this is interesting to you, I can send you the file I am working on to get your input.

Any chance that camping skills can get some love too? I have a personal mod I have been working on that makes them a lot more useful. It makes firewood expensive, but buyable in the store. Second, it is making all of the class specific camping skills better, reduced casting cost, and more specialized (WIP). I am about 1/3 done with the classes, the ones I use the most. The tradeoff is that each character starts with one of the three generic skills, based on class, and those are weaker than before, they can't learn the other two. The 4 class specific skills are very expensive and must all be learned from the trainer.
