Can I just say that the icon borders are absolutely lovely to look at, especially compared to the vanilla ones? Like, I can't go back to the vanilla ones any more, because they just look awful by comparison

no idea, unless a patch changed where the texture for essential item borders is stored.

The "Essential" quality item's (most notably Matter Manipulator) icons are still the regular icons, but everything else it works on. Any idea what the problem is? I can't think of any mods that I have that would interfere.

...(if it makes you feel any better, 1.4 broke mods Cleaner Health/Energy Bars as well. No idea how.)

i dont really intend to work on this mod much, since I don't play starbound as much as i used to, but you can do pretty much whatever you want.

Oh one more: do you have plans on editing the icons for mech blueprints? If you don't, could I also add in a version that stylized the mech blueprints?

Could you make a version that has the numbers on the hotkeys on the action bar? so the first pair has a 1, etc...

action bar doesn't have any significent changes, just shadows and brigher colors. icons are completly redone

I love the new icons, really i do. But i use another action bar mod so it's fucked up. But if you release a stanalone icon version be sure you'll get an upvote from me.

i dont think this works with any other action bar mods, since this is a sprite replacement and i'm pretty sure that those two mods have their own sprites as well

Looks good so far. Would it be possible for this mod to be compatible with FU? The mod utilizes the "essential" rarity in it's own way, and for that I believe it doesn't allow the gradient border of the latter here to be shown.

P6kc, this mod adds a bit of shading and color modifications to the action bar aka the thing your items are in when they're not in your inventory, it also adds oddly styled icon borders for items, which is probably the most noticable feature
