Yeah, I made this before the combat update. All turrets were size 0.25 in the begginer zone back then. You can always scale up the entire ship by a little to make it bigger.

You cant place Turrets on the bases you created

I love what you did with turret base.

I just changed the scale snap to the minimum and placed a ton on each other with match block

Hey Tesla, this is a very good looking ship, but I have trouble re-designing it. I don't understand how you manage to put so many thin solar panel within it. I was trying to remove them for larger Dampeners and Titanium Generator but it's just so difficult without a point to grasp for snapping.

There is a hauler variation of this that I did. A few other naonite/titanium tier ones in the workshop.

Did you do anymore "starter" ships like this? (or titanium)

I haven't been on the forums yet. I'm kind of limited on time as i'm finishing up my college semester, so I can't play as much as I used too.

A complete package. Nice design (looks functional, personal favorit of mine) and nice paintjob too most ships come unpainted (at least i think or many many people are grey lovers ) wich is not bad for taste reasons (paint it how you like it, you want jester ships go ahead) but i also think if ships come painted it conveys more of the authors intention how it should look.

sidenote: i still have the impression that many players/builders are like "nah i am not going to make a proper ship until i have shields people are going to rapidly skip that phase anyway"
so Proper, goodlooking, functional, enjoyable ships are a rare thing on iron/titanium levels
(and lets face it they are a pain in the behind to design and build i tryed and failed plenty of times).

@Cat Lord I haven't uploaded one, no. But when in build mode, you can modify the whole ship to titanium

and if so can you put a link?

You have great starter ships! I started creating my own designs from trinium tier only so I could use a good starter for a new playthrough.
And designs on all of your ships are pretty good.

One of the things I want to do in the game once a few more patches come out is to get with a group of friends and make two or more alliances and try to build up in different locations across the galaxy, eventually going to war with each other (but not griefing).
