I'll look into it at the end of the month. My laptop isn't useful for graphical editing and I won't be back at my desktop until August 31st. Could you post a link to what flag you mean?

What do you think an update would do? It's a graphical file. The archetecture hasn't changed since launch. This mod would work on the pre-released betas of EU4, let alone any future versions. Updates, for mods like this, are pointless and accomplish nothing as no compatibility issues are likely to ever exist.

The problem is that there are two projections, the flag on ships and cities and that which appears in the shield. One of which is a rectangle and the other is a square.They both use the same file, which is a square. So, in game if you look at the flags over your cities or ships, the circle is a circle.
