I've stayed up late to double check this: the map simply does not render enough for framerate to be a serious issue. Please ask your server owner to delete whatever version they have and install the latest version, B17.

The valve news network server, It was a full server and everyone was having problems, not just me. This isn't an issue with any other maps in the rotation.

Fantastic new update to a classic CP map!

I really like the new layout and detail changes overall. Very nice effort for a jungle update revival. I enjoyed playing on it with friends, too. Good job!

B4nny took a look at it on stream the other day, and had some suggestions which I'm implementing for the next version. I would love it if it got any competitive attention or gameplay.

this map looks amazing. really really cool good work on this jesus. i was wondering if it was intended for 6s? because the layout is similar to metalworks, if so then it would be a strange but unique mid fight and im not sure how the rest of it would play out.

You need to have the console enabled. Subscribe to the map, then start up TF2 and wait to make sure the map is downloaded fully.

Then in the console, try:

map workshop/960317656

If that command doesn't work, you can also try downloading the map directly from the tf2maps thread: https://tf2maps.net/downloads/antiquity.5/

I didn't generate a nav mesh for them to use, so no, bots will not work.

Please feel free to generate one yourself with console commands if you want though - here's how on the TF2 Wiki .

Antiquity seems pretty modern to me. Not the spawn rooms exactly, but the whole temple architecture.

When the photo of mid scrolled across my screen my jaw dropped. I had seen that before somewhere...

I think it was perhaps one of, if not the, first maps I ever saw back in God knows when. I'm pretty sure my friend tried to use it to hook me on the game. It didn't work.

Now, however, this map looks sexy. I'd love to run around shooting mercs there.

Packing the soundscape as scripts/soundscapes.txt seems to allow it to work just fine from some quick testing. I'm using the prerelease branch of TF2, not sure if it also works under the mainline branch.
